Hello,We have a DSP that allows us to send emails using the Graph API. To use this API, we use the ‘msal.js’ library, which allows us to connect to our Microsoft account before sending emails.After the first connection to the Microsoft account, we use the ‘msalInstance.getAllAccounts()’ method, which retrieves the Microsoft connected user from the cache. This is essential for sending several emails in succession.This DSP is used in a form through a DSPContainer, and it works very well.Our problem is as follows: after each application restart, we have to re-enter our credentials: the ‘msalInstance.getAllAccounts()’ method has forgotten everything. As long as the application is not restarted, this method remembers the logged-in user.Do you know if it is possible to have a persistent cache after closing? From an ergonomic point of view, it is not pleasant for the user to have to log in again each time. Thank you and Happy New Year to you !

Hello,I am using Rocket UNIFACE 10.3. As part of our plan to upgrade the database server, we are considering an OS upgrade from AIX 7.2 to AIX 7.3.Could you please let me know if UNIFACE is planned to support AIX 7.3? If there are any existing validation cases or roadmap information available, I would greatly appreciate it if you could share them.Thank you in advance for your support.

Hi All,   As part of our ongoing upgrade, we are transitioning the Uniface environment from Uniface 7 (on OpenVMS) to Uniface 10 (on Linux).During this migration, we encountered an issue with a 3GL function that was previously working as expected in the OpenVMS environment. The function is invoked using the following Uniface command:   perform "3glfunction"edit/nowander   This 3GL function is implemented in a .c file located in a Linux directory. Its purpose is to pause the Uniface application until a specified time has elapsed. Once the timer completes, the function uses UPUTAMES to send a response back to Uniface.While this setup worked seamlessly on OpenVMS, it does not function correctly on Linux. The Linux version of the 3GL function uses a timer thread, which is detached after the timer ends. Although UPUTAMES works independently and is capable of sending responses back to the application, it fails to trigger the expected behavior in Uniface-specifically, the form does not displa

The search (specific and AI) functions on the docs webpage appears to be broken, no results are returned even when very specific request are made, and the Uniface product is explicitly selected. Any idea when it’s coming back? Is there any locally installed resource a programmer can fall back on when the web is busted? Regards, Iain

HiThis is probably a question for Rocket mods.Customer is using an application that requires a runtime licence for uniface. They currently have the application and database on premise and use the Distributed Licence Manager to manage concurrent users.They wish to migrate the application and database to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.What would be the implications for this with regards moving the DLM onto OCI, and would the licence itself need to change?They are on uniface 9.7.Thanks in advance,Clare

I get the following error when attempting to enter an entitlement ID:“The friendly name provided is already associated with the fingerprint of another machine. Resolution: provide a different friendly name that is unique to this machine, or return the license on the other machine, and then retry activating this entitlement.” However I cannot change the friendly name nor can I return the licence as do to a windows reinstall.Can anyone help?

Anyone ran into the following? And knows a solution?Environment:Uniface 10.4.02.58 on Windows 10 and RedHat 9.4 Linux Character set for I/O ($DEF_CHARSET: - Windows: CP1252 (default) - Linux: LATIN1 (default)Oracle Database 19c, NLS_CHARACTERSET defined as WE8ISO8859P15; this is supposed to be ISO 8859-15 including £ and € GBP pound sign £ stored in a database table or returned in the text of a Stored Package is displayed in Uniface (both Windows GUI and Linux CHUI) as #. Setting $DEF_CHARSET on the client(s) and userver to UTF8 helps, but has a negative side effect on tables with column LONG RAW, such as PRATT.

I patched to patch 026 a couple of days ago and my colleagues and I have noticed it no longer responds to Ctrl-F or Ctrl-H in the proc editor, and find and replace now require the right click menu.  This is continually catching me out, and I and winding up typing search strings into proc because Ctrl-F has not brought up the find window.  How do I get the shortcuts back? Hi FreaksFor a long time, the proc editor in UF 9.7.4 works well.But since a few weeks it going slower and slower.First I thought it is the internet, but this happens at every connection to the internetThen I did a look into the INI:  maxtags is 20 and even if I set it to 0 ... It looks like ot depends of the size of the proccodeSmall trigger or at the beginning of a large trigger: The editor responds immediately to input.Large triggers at the end of the code.
