I am in the process of upgrading to Uniface version 10.4.02 (patch 031) and now have a working IDE. When I launch the IDE, a message saying "UHTTP: Negative return status: -12" shows in the Messages tab on the start page. Also, the middle of the start page screen shows "No connection". Everything else functions fine.

Was there something I missed or did incorrectly?

Thank you.

Try use  uhttp.SET_FLAGS(2) before call uhttp.SEND!

I think this is in the IDE itself, on the start page, so there's no proc code to amend.

Iain is correct. Issue is in the IDE, which we have no control over.

Sorry I did not understand. uniface uses the IDE home page to access the uniface forum. It is warning you that it cannot connect. Free the internet and the problem stops.

The Uniface forum is already accessible under the GO TO OUR COMMUNITY PORTAL link at the bottom of the page. That works.

Our infrastructure people can't see anything that's blocking the connection. They would like to know what the URL is that it's trying to connect to in order to troubleshoot this further. And it must be different than the version 10.3 IDE since that one does not throw the error. I would figure the domain would at least be the same but maybe not?

Thanks.
