I am looking at having our remote sites feed back statistics on client licence usage over the preceding month, so we can track usage and suggest increased licences where appropriate.

To that end, I've been looking at the umfilter option to output a licence usage log. However, it does not appear that the command line help (or the online help) gives me the correct usage for the date filters.

I am trying

umfilter -d 7188@localhost -o c:/tmp/dlm2.csv -feat UCLIENT -usage -sdate09/01/2019 -edate09/30/2019

With and without spaces after the sdate/edate, but the output appears to start in february (possibly the start of the log file?). Any clues anyone?

Hi Iain,

this seems to be another Uniface "Feature" (they don't habe BUGs).

The DLMHelp.chm shows totaly different parameters to UMFILTER -h!!!

-sdate "09/01/2019" should work.

But -edate doesn't work!!!

Regards
