Uniface 9 DLM and Uniface 10.3?

Can the Uniface 9 DLM be used with Uniface 10.3 or would this cause issues? If not. can two licence managers run on the same machine without conflict? Thanks.

I can't remember which way round we used it but you can definitely have both versions using one DLM.  (It might be that you need the V10 DLM but can run the V9 system to use it). 
We are currently running a V9.7 system and some V10.3 systems on the same licence manager. 
It might be that they are actually the same software....

Hi Toni,

The default license service for Uniface 10.3.03  and 10.4.01 is the new Sentinel License system. 
Customers are urged to use this new licensing system instead of the old DLM system. 
Uniface 10.4 is build to use Sentinel.
Customers using Uniface 10.3 applications and not yet have the time to start using Sentinel, Licensing of Uniface 10.3.03 applications can be redirected to DLM License Service.
For this to work, find the used ASN file (usually you can find it specified in the applications shortcut after the /asn=).
Add in the section:

[SETTINGS]
$license_options=lm_license_file=<location of the license>,lm_load=u​

When using uservers, please add the lm_load=u to these asn files also.

It is very much recommended to use the latest downloadable version of DLM 9.2.07 as DLM license service on the used license server.
