Drop Component from Memory definition

Hi,

Is there a way in uniface 9.x to know at runtime whether the component is set to "drop from memory" or even change it ?

    Hi Yaron,

    AFAIK, there is no mechanism in uniface to manage the drop from component.

     

    With the dITo initiative, we have a concept to collect Repository infos (just like "drop component")
    and inject these to the component as a set of precompiler directives in an included proc.
    Gives YOU, the user all kind of possibilities to include what you think is necessary (anything but the compile timestamp).
