Uniface and BigQuery

Hello Uniface Community

Could it be possible to have an Uniface application, running on a  Citrix Windows server of our company, 
AND this application working on Database like BigQuery, stored on the cloud ?

Any Idea about that ?

    Hi Daniel,

    AFAIK there is NO direct Uniface driver to BigQuery.

    Nevertheless into BigQuery site I've found this sentence:

    "BigQuery support a SQL dialect referring to ANSI:2011 ... ODBC and JDBC driver are freely available to enable your current application to interface with BigQuery powerful engine ...".

    I feel this is currently the only available path; however I suggest to put in place a dedicated test with focus on performance before committing it.
