Windows Desktop Support
High Resolution Device Support
Windows Themes
Improved Audio Support
Client Log Files
Automatic Reconnect
Connection Monitoring
Non-admin Installers for Windows Client and Browser Add-ons
Microsoft Windows 10 Client Support

In addition to the product enhancements and extra support there are a number of product fixes, please see the ReadMe and Release Notes available in the download directory for additional information. Please note that you must have a user account to access Uniface Anywhere on the Uniface Downloads site. To receive an account, you will have to register first. User accounts are currently NOT linked to other Uniface sites such as Uniface.info.

Hello, What is the best way to upgrade an v4.8-installation to v5. Should I uninstall the previous version, or can I run the v5 installer to upgrade the server? best regards Tomas

Hi Tomas, If you have Uniface Anywhere version 4.8 host on 64-bit Operating System, you can just run the installer of version 5.0 Host and select Repair/Update within the installer. When running Uniface Anywhere version 4.8 host on 32-bit Operating System, you will have to Uninstall the previous version first, before you can install version 5.0. Some tips before uninstalling: 1) Backup the original License.lic file before uninstalling Uniface Anywhere 2) Save registry key: \\\\HKLM\\SOFTWARE\\Uniface\\Uniface Anywhere\\Appserver\\InstalledApps\\ After installing Uniface Anywhere 5.0 Host, you can place your license file back and Import the saved registry key file. You will have to start the license server and the Application Publishing Service after these actions. More information on Upgrading you can also find in the product V5UAHost-B22406-Readme.txt file. Be advised, that you will have to have a 5.0 (new) license file in order to run Uniface Anywhere 5.0 Host. Best regards, Nico
