Hi Roberto Are theUniface installations (in part) local or global? If local: Different ASN or INI-File on this PC? If global: Dos the user have the proper rights for directories contaning ASN or INI file If I'm not wrong with your version, UnifAce requires write access for INI-Files As a hint: Set $ioprint to 1023 and check, if there is an error Maybe this user don't have rights on database for a subselection of rows? Ask the user to logon to your application at another PC and vs. ... Ingo

If the installations are local, it would also make sense to check the operating systems are identical from a windows patching perspective.

Could it be because of a record (R type) component? Same user on db access? If different users different profiles? Gianni
