What's new page forum posts

I see that the new and new comment functions in the forum posts have been removed, and that the limited display of posts has now been replaced with a listing each time a comment is written (meaning, in effect, that even fewer new topics can be displayed than previously), but the date field does not have a time on it, so that even if you make a note of the last time you read the forums, you can't check if any of the posts are new. We also no longer have the new/unread posts option at the top of the forum as per previous comments by sochaz. This does make it hard to keep up with what is changing on the forums.

Hmm, sorry Uli, I'd have chimed in on your previous post (which basically says the same as this one) if I had known it was there, but the changes have made it hard to see previous or unread posts without trawling the whole thing forum by forum. I guess that kind of makes our point though doesn't it.
