We have released again a new version of X401 (called X401B) since we've found another serious side-effect in the patch. The fix for bug 30482, “After discarding first record outer one entity next occ are not fetched”, caused bug 30600,”X401: inner entities not read properly when last outer occurrence is discarded”. Because we think that more customers will be impacted badly by the new bug than by the original bug, we have decided to remove the fix for 30482 from X401. We've started working on a reliable fix for the discard statement and as soon as we have some news it will be announced here on Uniface.info. The new version of the X401 (X401B) can be installed on top of the previous version. Doing so, it will completely replace the previous version. I am sorry to say that X401B now also has been recalled. We've found another serious side effect, bug 30606 ("Retrieve profile of field might not be picked up when using panel button"): when using a panel button to perform a retrieve then the retrieve profile is not picked up when the focus remains on the field and the active form is contained. We are currently investigating in more detail and as soon as we have some news it will be announced here on Uniface.info. Users who are affected (or are uncertain if they are affected) by this issue can easily downgrade to the Service Pack MX03 by installing it on top of X401(B). Doing so, it will completely replace the mentioned patch. We’re again sorry for any inconvenience this might cause you.
