You can use the $columnsyntax to hide or show a complete column in the grid as well as in the default entity. Columns can be sized from proc and you can even catch the resize events in the extended triggers of the grid. I think there is even sample code on how to do this but I'm not 100% sure. By the way this is only available from UNIFACE 9.5 and higher. Jasper

It's not an answer to your question/wish and little offtopic, but in U9 you can use the property 'autoSizeableColumn' (mind the 'ea' in sizeable). WIth this prop you can bind the grid to the left and right boundries.

We need it, too. We have this on our wishlist for several years...
