New Feature(s)

  • In 'Generated' layout mode, UX Component widgets (UX-HeaderFooter, UX-Layout) automatically adapt their height to fill the available browser viewport. A minimum page height is maintained during rendering, enabling these widgets to expand into the remaining viewport space by default for a seamless full-height layout.

Fixes

  • UNI-54156 URouter performance issues — affects overall URouter when Uniface clients have DBMS credentials
  • UNI-42325 Editing Documentation property (Comments) in certain situations saves into wrong object

UNI-54156  -  URouter performance issues — affects overall URouter when Uniface clients have DBMS credentials

Solution available in patch(es):      10.4.03-045

Description:

When Uniface clients configured with DBMS (database) login credentials connect to Uniface URouter, the entire URouter can experience slow response times and connection failures, affecting all clients using that URouter instance—not just those with DBMS credentials.

The URouter was performing unnecessary checks too frequently when processing DBMS credentials. This overhead doesn't just impact the credential-configured clients themselves; it slows down the entire URouter, affecting all connected clients during peak usage.

Environment:

+Uniface Version : 10.4.03.019 and higher
+Operating System : All
+Database : Database independent

Workaround:

Move DBMS login information from client assignment file to server assignment file to reduce overhead.
This workaround is no longer necessary with this fix.

Notes:

This issue has been resolved.

UNI-42325  -  Editing Documentation property (Comments) in certain situations saves into wrong object

Solution available in patch(es):      10.4.03-045

Description:

When you make changes in the Entity Editors - Documentation tab these are saved when leaving the tab. In case you change the selected object while changes need to be saved, your Documentation changes will end up in the newly selected object instead of the object where you made your edits. In other Editor types this behavior is not observed.

Environment:

+ Uniface version : 10.x
+ Platform : WIN
+ Databases : Independent

Workaround:

Do not directly change the selected object after a Documentation tab edit.

Notes:

This problem is fixed.
