Rocket Uniface is pleased to announce the release of Uniface Anywhere version 6.4.2.189.6 .
Uniface Anywhere is the simple and secure application virtualization solution that extends the reach of existing Windows applications to corporate networks or the web. With Uniface Anywhere, authorized employees, business partners, and customers can securely access applications from anywhere, regardless of connection, location, client platform, or operating system.
Uniface Anywhere 6.4.2 introduces new features and enhancements that improve system administration and end-user productivity. This release includes support for Independent Host Manager, centralized license management for Independent Hosts, file copy and paste support between remote and local applications on Windows clients, and numerous usability, printing, authentication, and platform stability improvements.

Notes:
1. Older Uniface Anywhere clients can connect to Uniface Anywhere 6.4 hosts, but some enhancements and fixes are only supported with Uniface Anywhere 6.4 clients. Users should upgrade their clients to version 6.4.2
2. Windows 10 and Windows 11 are no longer supported as Uniface Anywhere Host operating systems. Supported host platforms are Windows Server 2016, Windows Server 2019, and Windows Server 2022.
3. Uniface Anywhere 6.4.2 introduces the Independent Host Manager server role, which centralizes license management for Independent Hosts while allowing each host to maintain its own applications and settings.
4. Version 6.4.2.189.6 includes updates to logon.html. Customers who have customized files in the /web/ directory must merge their customizations into the updated files after upgrading.
5. When upgrading version 6.2.6 relay environments to version 6.4, upgrade the Relay Load Balancer before upgrading any Dependent Hosts.
6. Uniface Anywhere 6.4 requires a version 6.4 license. Existing cloud subscription licenses have been upgraded automatically, but customers using on-premises licensing must obtain a new 6.4 license file before upgrading.
7. The fourth component of the version number (6.4.2.189.6) is lower than the corresponding build numbers used in earlier 6.x releases due to an internal build numbering reset. Future releases will continue increasing from this new baseline.
