We want to inform you that the Uniface AI Development Assistant will be decommissioned at the end of June.
This assistant, delivered as an external chat-based service, has provided useful early insights but has not consistently delivered the level of value expected in real development workflows—particularly due to its lack of integration with the Uniface development environment.
What’s changing
- The AI Development Assistant will be powered off at the end of June
- Existing users will no longer have access after this date
- No action is required
Data handling
- Any AI prompts stored within the service will be anonymised as part of the decommissioning process
What’s next We are focusing on integrating AI directly into the Uniface development environment, with a more practical and flexible approach. This will allow customers to:
- Bring their own AI models
- Use customer-managed or curated AI model integrations
- Align AI usage with enterprise security, governance, and compliance requirements
