If you are considering upgrading to Rocket® UniVerse 11.4.1 and use either Rocket SB/XA (all releases) or Rocket U2 Web DE 5.3.0 or below, you need to plan your upgrade to avoid disruption to your System Builder and Web DE applications. Rocket UniVerse 11.4.1 includes OpenSSL 3.0. With the upgrade of OpenSSL, we also disabled unsafe encryption algorithms including: Hashing Algorithms / Message Digests: MD2, MD4, MDC2, WHIRLPOOL, RIPEMD160 Symmetric Ciphers: Blowfish, CAST, DES (DES_ECB, DES_CBC, DES_OFB, DES_CFB, DES_CFB1, DES_CFB8 and DESX_CBC), IDEA, RC2, RC4, SEED Key Derivation Function (KDF): PBKDF1 Both SB/XA and U2 Web DE 5.3.0 (and earlier) rely on disabled encryption algorithms and won't work unless you reenable them. Hello I am hoping someone can help with an AccutermIO query. We are following the instructions..... AccuTerm Release Information V8 and we are trying to create a profile. 2 Profiles already exist, thet were created prior to Rocket aquiring Zumasys. When we create a profile we are not getting a check box display for the Role (admin/dev).  We create the profile anyway, but when we launch Accuterm we get the error No profiles have been created. Please login to Portal and create one.  Can anyone please advise on what we are doing wrong. Hello, I have a script to launch the  ACCUTERM GUI application from a shortcut in desktop but when the user closes the GUI application the ACCUTERM session is still active letting the user to play around, so the user has to close again the ACCUTERM session.  We need a script to launch the GUI application and when closing it also close ACCUTERM session so the user gets back to desktop screen.   I tried  the  following script but it is not working: .Output "RUN GUIBP GUIAPPLICATION" & ChrW$(13).WaitFor 0, 8, "o:" .Output "QUIT" & ChrW$(13) I will appreciate any advice. I cannot see how to retrieve information returned from a script into my basic program. For example:SCRIPT  = 'width = Field(WindowPos(0),",",3)'CALL WIN.COMSUB(SCRIPT)how do I get the returned information back into my Unidata basic program?

We have hundreds of desktops running wIntegrate version 6.4.4.  After migrating to RHEL we want to find an easy method to enable SSO for all our desktops with wIntegrate.   We would like to run an automated script (using powershell or something) to update all our desktops so we don’t have to update each desktop individually, but the manual states that you cannot edit the session .wic files with a text editor because the files are in a binary format… that you need to use the wIntegrate Editor to edit the .wic files.  This doesn’t sound like something that can be easily automated. We have experimented with using a text editor (Notepad++) to update a .wic file before, and wIntegrate seems to properly recognize the changed setting... so it seems feasible that an automated powershell script could find and update all .wic files with a new setting.  Has anybody else had success updating settings in a wIntegrate .wic session file without using the wIntegrate editor to comp

The output of my application screen shows as an old theme when I use Accuterm editor. The button, text, and color make my application old. I try to make my application screen look better. Hi Again, I am trying to change the background color of an ITEM , it has FORGROUND and BACKGROUND options in its PROPERTIES when looked at in ACCUTERM. So I am assuming that they can be changed on the "fly" durring use of the form. Hi,  am now using Accuterm well but am stumped by the the resulting functionality of the  Combo Box. Lets say the combo Box is waiting for a request and the user enters a Name (as requested)   BAXTER  I then search the Customers file and find 21. When I have created a list and loaded it, how do I make the list shown on the screen so that the user knows that their search request has a result. I realise that the user could simply press the "down arrow" but I would prefer to show them the first 8 items to indicate that the selection is ready for picking  I hope this makes sense. hello there, I have used Accuterm and Unibasic for the last 4 months, and I used the basic and standard toolboxes from Accuterm 8. That looks like old vintage themes, For Example, I want the input field with the curve edges as well as buttons, and more. So, I want to create a better user interface for my application.is there any alternative or any ideas? Any information you can provide would be highly appreciated. Hi, thanks to a few AccuTerm Training YouTube videos I have started to move forward but have hit a problem I cant yet resolve. I am trying to create a screen that show customer details, basic customer info with Rep Code and name (looked up from Reps file)   that's working.   Next step - to be able to update these details, simple stuff works but I am stuck on the Rep Code.   I have created a list box which should show the Rep code but no its blank.    Then I have created a click event which populates the Rep List with code in first column and Name in second that works and allows me to select a different Rep problem is that the new Rep code is not shown, new Rep name is shown via the validate event for the Rep code I simply can not get the Rep Code to show in the box for it  I am sure that I am doing something very simple wrong but cant find it. Can anyone help please  p.s. the training videos get very near the answer but leave it as something for future development of the training app -

Hi, I'm new to SB+ development so please excuse any ignorant questions. I'm trying to amend a screen to: Add a field that should be forced to 'N' unless 2 prior entered fields have particular values. If the prior fields meet the conditions the user should be able to optionally change the value to 'Y' If the prior fields don't meet the condition the user should not be able to change the value. I tried to activate the U2 python option using the command from the manual. This is what it returned. $ ./bin/uvregen -p PY:1.uvconfig: Permission denieduvregen: error during regen, process abortedUniVerse becomes un-authorized due to license change!Configuration Code:XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXX That's a scary response. Is it un-authorized now? It's still working but is this going to blow up when I reboot? I'm hoping not and that the real issue is that I didn't execute the command as sudo. Are there any "How To" manuals for AccumTerm  as I am in reality a new user, who did developed good screen 5 years ago but the customer did not what to change then. Now they are all for it but I can get the basic's out of the manuals and feel completely lost and out of the loop

How can I call two applications at the same time and work simultaneously using Accuterm 8? I have a primary menu called MM, for instance. I want to call two separate sessions from the main menu: Customer Master (CM) and Order Entry. I use EXECUTE but the primary menu is unable to use. With Accuterm 8, I am using the Unidata database. Any insights you can share would be greatly appreciated. In BDT you can click on the Windows toolbar option and the Editor option allows you to split the window into two panes either vertical or horizontal. It will work with a single file, but how can I open two different programs in either of the panes?
