Hey all,I can see (in task manager) the command line used to start Uniface. We were getting 153 ("Subscript out of range") error during runtime with Cobol 6.0.5 we used the below compilation options. -C SSRange=2-C NoCheck-C Bound With Cobol migration to 7.0.6 we with the same set of compilation options we are not getting the 153 ("Subscript out of range") error. But when I remove the -C NoCheck I am getting the error. Hi Version 10.4.02.005 working in client.We don't think this is possible but I am asking here in the hope that someone can point out the obvious thing we have missed. The scenario is a multi-occurrence entity painted on the form with lots of records retrieved.  We would like to know which of the painted occurrences the current occurrence is being displayed within. Early versions of the ZMF REST API documentation, and a number of the videos generated at the same time, refer to two separate applications, zmfrest and zmfevent, distributed in war files of the same names. In ZMF 8.2 Patch 4 and later, however, only the zmfrest application is provided. Why is this? The very simple answer is that, as mentioned in the ZMF 8.2 Patch 4 Readme file, the zmfevent application was merged into the zmfrest application in that release. I would like to be able to set up a 'default state'  for my IDE, so that when I have finished a task I can reset the open tabs to a base state and therefore 'close' all the objects I have been working on for that task. I could copy in and out the state zip file, but that would also reset the stored position in all the components, so if I re-open a recent one, it will not be focused on the latest changes. I have peered into the zip file, and I think that 'all' I need to do is build something that copies the MAIN file in (from one previously copied out), but I don't want to play too hard for fear of messing up my IDE. Is there such a function (reset the tabs to the specified list), and/or a breakdown of the files in the zip folder so I know if there are others I should be backing up for consistency? Regards, Iain------------------------------Iain SharpHead of Technical ServicesPci Systems LtdSheffield GB------------------------------

Hi Unifacers,I've developed a functionality to fileload/lfileload and analyze Uniface C/S log files; unfortunately log files, related to Uniface sessions still opened, cannot be read with Uniface itself.Question 1: is the lock applied from Uniface runtime "exclusive" type? Question(s)  2: being an old Unifacer I remember when file_load (old version!) when trying to load file in read-write mode was getting an error, it was switching to readonly mode and reading it, exactly like any text editor would do (notepad++ as an example). I am almost sure this was the file_load standard behaviour until U7. If this behaviour is changed lately could I ask the specific reason for it? Could it be considered a regression bug? Since upgrading to Uniface 10.3.02 last year, I can't tell how to view the message frame in the IDE. Hi AllI would like to do a uniface repository export of a frm from inside a different uniface repositoryI am surprised I can't seem to export a form using the command line switches... so an /imp but for export.I thought of using /tst but /tst does not allow input parametes picked up by $1, $2 etcI did not won't to create a text file and then import that.I assume I am missing something very obvious.Can someone point me in the right directionThanksOz------------------------------Osman Shariff------------------------------

Relatively new to Accuterm but have an issue I've inherited from the last programmer....when using the 'required' option for data fields, attempting to close the screen with the top right screen 'X' returns the message that the field is required.  The documentation says the code should hit the validate and deactivate after the 'close' call but it doesn't seem to....as my debugs are not executing.I don't want to have to manually check / set required fields for every click - but I do need to allow the user to exit with the 'X' (CLose) feature without the error message.Anyone know what I might be doing wrong here? Hello everyone,We are planning to upgrade our UniVerse (UV) ERP system this year and also do a hardware refresh. We would like the hardware refresh to include running in a VM (we don't currently). Our current UV system is running on an IBM AIX server with Kaminario flash storage (~2TB) with our largest hashed file being 120GB / 23M records.Looking for any insight or opinions related to getting more speed and performance for UniVerse i.e. stick with AIX or go with another UNIX / Linux? Virtualize or don't virtualize? Nutanix VM or something else? Anything better than flash storage from Kaminario?Thanks in advance!

The Append command adds information to the Clipboard without deleting the information that is already there. The appended information begins a new line on the Clipboard following the existing material. To add the existing information on the Clipboard: Click and drag a rectangle around the information that you want to copy. Hi allSimple question here on callx - D3 on Windows:I'm trying to do a simple "catch" whenever someone edits a file. So, I write a simple subroutine and compile it and flash compile with 'o' option (per documentation) I add the call to attribute 8 in the dict entry of the file: and proceed to ed(it) an item expecting my subroutine to trigger - but it doesn't WHY? Currently,  I have a lot of scripts that run from excel in order to scrape data from TSYS. Is there a way to access the screenshots from the screen history?  I am using GetObject("RIBM") in order to control the emulator, but currently stuck on what I should use. I have seen folks using: screenImage = ThisIbmTerminal.Productivity.ScreenHistory.GetLiveScreenImage()But the above does not work as I am running the macros within excel and not within the emulator.
