I have used AccuTerm in limited fashion, (text boxes and lists), in my character based systems.  I would like under the GUI AccuTerm to make the conversion behave as now.  Example from events management:  Customer demographics enter customer number or keyword which brings up a list of customers.  I can see this clearly in the DEMO examples.  Change prompt for customer demographics I invite an <O>ptions and display a little window offering options like <R>entals.  If selected it lists the customers existing rentals.  Selecting a rental the calls the rental summary screen with options.  The <B>uildings option lists buildings on the rental.  Selection of a building shows the details of the building portion of the rental, offers options, one is <I>tems which allows entry of table, chairs, etc.  I can see the in CM the forms DETAIL, LOGIN, and MAIN all in the same program.  The event management would require 7 fo

Hello, we are working with version 4.0 of CA and we want to update to version 8.0 of CA:1 - Is it possible to do it without installing the previous versions? 2 - Would it be necessary to completely uninstall the product and install it again with the correct version?

My solution involved existing PRO*COBOL modules compiled into Visual COBOL. and for this we are using 64 bit ODAC drivers provide by Oracle. Installation of the ODAC drivers have been successful, however when trying to consume the drivers using ADO.NET Connect Editor I endup with dependency on Microsoft .Net framework 3.5 or lower where as the ODAC provider is .Net 4.5 and above and I've selected Framework as 4.0 and above in ADO.Net and the CPU architecture as 64 bit. It would be great, if some one can point me in the right direction to install and use ODAC 64 bit drivers for my Visual COBOL 64 bit without any dependency on the 32 bit framework or 3.5 framework. Hi, We work with tomcat 8 and uniface 9.7.5. One of our customers did a security audit and returned a high security issue to us with version 8 of Tomcat. This security audit advises us to use Tomcat 10. But this version of Tomcat migrates all classes using javax.* to jakarta.*. The wrd.jar uses the javax.* class. Is there a wrd.jar version compatible with TOMCAT 10 and the new class jakarta ?Thanks. this is a COBOL performance issue related to PeopleSoft.  We are doing a system upgrade and having no change in COBOL program.  We are seeing our cobol process running much slower.  Available tracing shows us the issue is not SQL performance related.  We are upgrading from PT 8.56 to PT 8.59 and Oracle DB 12c Extreme Performance RAC to DB 21c Extreme Performance RAC. New and Old environments are all in OCI. Our issue is that existing COBOL program for GL Consolidation is running much slower on the PT 8.59 environment. We have worked with Oracle Support and provided AWR reports and can confirm the issue is not SQL or DB tuning related. In the COBOL trace we see that total time in application is greatly increased in our new environment compared to old. Process is running more than twice as long in new environment on equivalent linux process schedulers with same ocpu/memory etc. Any idea what influences the Total in Application time? When creating a new AS/400 printer session on a Rumba installation with the German or French language pack installed, and trying to select a Host Code Page different than the default, Rumba shows incorrect codes (character set ID numbers) for the various Code Pages, eg. it shows number 140 for "German (Euro)" instead of 141 and 141 for "Finnish (Euro)" instead of 143.
