I read through the documentation and compared it to what I am seeing on the system. There is a DEVICES record called OKIDATA.  This has control character definitions and such. In the USER-COLD-START, there is a STARTPTR 0, 0, 0, S13 & STARTPTR 1, 1, 0, S10 and other for the rest. There is also an ASSIGNFQ 1,OKIDATA (C If I do LISTPTR I have several printers, 0, 1, 2, 6 and 7 and all say serial and DEV or PROCESS # is 13, 10, 11, 14 and 9.On the server itself, the OKIDATA printer name is OKI-C711-DCA9AC. How is the OKI-C711-DCA9AC assign to the OKIDATA?  I am thinking it is something to do with a configuration somewhere for the Dev or Process, but not sure what.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.------------------------------Troy DittbernerPresidentNorthstar Data Services IncBrooklyn Park VA US------------------------------

Continuing with the events that arose during a migration from Net Express 5.1 to Visual Cobol 10, a file opening error occurred. There is a file with eight records opened in input mode by several processes. The event was reviewed and found that when making this call, the service crashed. The reason is unclear since, as indicated, the file only contains eight records and is invoked in input mode. The question is whether new or additional features for file management should be specified for Visual Cobol 10, since this crash and increased resource usage is very high. Does anybody have a sample to send emails with AcuCobol to Office365? Until now we use sonnectors/dlls like Simple MAPI, Extended MAPI, SMTP or MSMAPI After installing Office 365 it seems we have to use the Microsoft Graph API. If I insert a deliberate error in my code, and use the 'create' option on the member in my subset, no errors are shown. The output log shows this ... Linux/Windows thin client; runtime 10.51 I need to display any of a series of bitmaps in a grid cell.  I am using WBITMAP-LOAD (I have also tried WBITMAP-LOAD-IMAGES) to load a .bmp file, and I get a handle to the object.  However, these bitmaps will not display in grid cells if the runtime is thin client (if not thin client, it works).  I can display the bitmaps if the grid is not active. I'm fairly new to the UV world, and a coworker installed a trial version of UV and then had to have emergency surgery so the project was placed with me. I'm trying to sset up a uv database, but i can't seem to find or create a proper bp directory file for basic source code, and I can't type in lowercase at all, all myh input gets converted to uppercase. I've tried turning CASE off but it still converts. Can we default to a lowercase easily?

What I am trying to accomplish (unsuccessfully so far) is that if the end-user starts the process to generate a report, and they realize it is going to take a long time, I want to provide them a "kill" button.  The kill button would post a message to the report and tell it to stop. What happens with my test                Form 1 – select a report Activates the window with the "kill" button                         Then Actives a form for the user to filter the report data (Form 2)                 Form 2 – select "print" button, activates report                          Cursor spins until the report finishes                          Report finishes and then I can go back to the "kill" windows, but by now it is too late  Once they select the print button … I want them to be able to go to the "kill" button form BUT this is not possible until the report finishes  I understand the logic behind the way it works.  I'm just looking for a "work around" 😊 My early prototype worked, but that's be

Hi everyone. I'm trying to open/use/finc a way to use developer tool's on an uHTML widget. I've added  HTML=uhtml(EnableDevTools=true) In the widget section of my ini file. I've also add it to properties in the exec operation of my form :     properties = $properties(AFFIC_HTML)    putitem/id properties, "ENABLEDEVTOOLS", "T"    $properties(AFFIC_HTML) = properties So I guess it' enable. Then what ? How to access it ? I of course tried with right buton, but the software I'm working on already have a panel opening a sub menu common to all the forms. Any clue ? Hi, I need some assistance with my u2 installation of python. UV14.1.1/Windows - python 3.11.1 is installed under c:u2uvpython. I want to install and use a third party python module(s). However, using:  >python -m pip install wonderwords gives me an error ERROR: Exception: ... ImportError: cannot import name 'RequirementInformation' from 'pip._vendor.resolvelib.structs' (c:u2uvpythonLibsite-packagespip_vendor esolvelibstructs.py) How should I resolve that? Should I reinstall something? Also, is it possible to use virtual python environments with the u2 python configuration?
