I'll claim a senior moment here... An associate is trying to write an I-type dictionary that retrieves the first subvalue in a set of  fields. I can certainly do it with a subroutine and the FIELD function, but the FIELDS function specifically excludes use of the value mark or sub-value mark as delimiters. Suggestons? Some of the batch jobs were getting failed due to 9/124 error code which connects to the fileshare. When analzying the event logs in the Microfocus server, found that mfds service got stopped for 1 minute and restarted itself. We couldnt find any logs pertaining to restart of Fileshare service. Hello All, I'm working on a new project with Micro Focus Cobol! Here is what I have: TWOS is a Time and Work Order Management System developed by Ford. It is written in Micro Focus Cobol and runs on SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES) 11 SP4. This is what I need: 1. Upgrade the OS to SLES 15 SP1 2. Upgrade the application to the latest version of Micro Focus Cobol 3. Migrate the application from 32 bit to 64 bit This is what I know: Micro Focus 1. Visual COBOL installs fully only on 64-bit Windows platforms. On 32-bit Windows, the setup file does not install some of the components. Visual COBOL enables you to produce both 64-bit and 32-bit applications on 64-bit operating systems. 2. As 64-bit architecture is becoming increasingly prevalent, the consideration of moving towards producing 64-bit applications is also increasing. Hello,  After installing Miniconda (v 1.2.1) I tried creating a new environment and installing a package to it, for example:  conda create -n curl conda activate curl conda install .. curl The conda create and activate worked fine but the install produced several messages like as follows: IBMUSER:/u/ibmuser: >conda install -c https://conda.anaconda.org/zoss-appdev gzipcompile command returned 65280Failed to load /u/ibmuser/.ffi/i_.so: CEE3501S The module /u/ibmuser/.ffi/i_.so was not found. No ffi call function could be found or createdcompile command returned 65280Failed to load /u/ibmuser/.ffi/v_iiPi.so: CEE3501S The module /u/ibmuser/.ffi/v_iiPi.so was not found. compile command returned 65280 I was able to circumvent the error but copying the missing files from the Miniconda install lib/ffi directory, but I wonder if I missed something during the Miniconda install/config? Does anyone use SSRS (Sql Server Reporting Services) to report D3 data.We've tried using the D3odbc and SQL mappings on D3 files, and it works very easily using Excel, but SSRS cannot see the D3 data source.This needs to be usable at an end-user level, so no program writing involved. Hi, We are working for Net Express to Visual Cobol Migration and currently ' Server for Cobol' is installed in the Wintel Server. Can we install  ' Cobol Server' as well in the same Wintel server or do we need to install it separately in a new server? We are looking for some solution if same server can be used  to provide the execution environment for the applications which will have Net Express components as well as for the applications which will be migrated to Visual Cobol.
