There are several third party/independent software vendor (ISV) products that are known to potentially impact ChangeMan ZMF processing. For example, both Broadcom’s PDSMAN and Seasoft’s PDSFAST products have been known to interfere with the successful completion of various functions within ZMF. The ChangeMan ZMF Installation Guide (the 8.3 version of which can be found here) contains a list of several products known to cause such issues. This is happening immediately upon the region starting up.  We can see in the logs that it finishes creating all the SEPs, and 10 seconds after all the SEPs abend with the message "CASCD0154S SEP 00001 for ES PROD abended by signal 4294967295". Our clients are using 10 SEPs, and they all abend the same way. See part of the log file below. The rest of the log file looks normal. The most recent clients are in versions "ED6.0/20230530_PU25" and "ED6.0/20230630_PU26". Has anyone had this reported? I had a customer who used Acu4GL for SYBASE with the old version for a long time, but sometimes the application got MAV error. Because the older veriosn was just for 32-bit Windows, and the customer is using the current Windows platforms which almost are Windows x64, we apply an evaluation of version 10.5 to test for the newer Windows x64 platforms. According the content in the document, Acu4GL for SYBASE can use  the 32-bit libraries with a 64-bit runtime and 32-bit Acu4GL for Sybase. So we just installed the 64-bit version which included runtime  and Acu4GL for SYBASE 32-bit (can choose from the product selections). But after some initial procedures working(like new stored procedures creation), we found the application seemed didn't direct the file I/O through Acu4GL for SYBASE(no SQL statements in the log file) and just got file error 35. Hello,  I am migrating our production application (Prelude) from a UNIX to Linux environment. Currently, I am working on moving the U2 ODBC database. UniData is installed and working on the system and presents correctly in Prelude, however the ODBC database is having some issues. When I attempt to connect using U2 ODBC drivers, I can only interact with 5 out of the 40 tables present. The account used to manage these tables/subtables/views has owner permissions on the db and is part of the same groups as it was on Unix. I sometimes see an error message when trying to re-license after an update (which I've been doing a lot recently to get customers up to 3003). "This web address is for US and Canadian customers of RBC.  Please click OK and click the indicated URL to continue." This is from https://rbc.rocketsoftware.com/authprod.asp.  I usually wait a day or two (but not ten!) and go through the process again and it usually seems to work.  I could be entering the details a different way the 2nd time?  The customers work with the VAR to get the license details, so I'm one step removed from requesting and managing the serial numbers, they just call me when they need help. I'm posting this to alert anyone who's got large multivalued attributes they may want to sum in AQL. A friend of mine logged a case recently where a correlative using the S() function would hang when the file has any items where the attribute in question has more than 32,768 values. Engineering confirmed that this is an AQL limitation because it's using a 16-bit signed variable to track the value count. This variable is used in many places in AQL, and it would be a huge task to rearchitect. In the course of debugging this, Engineering came up with a workaround by using CALL in the correlative. This not only removed the 32,768-value limit, but it is also MUCH faster. Hello My customer has a pre-production DRP test today. We switch iCluster Primary Node to DR site and cut DC-DR data link and they made some app transactions for an hour from 6-7 users. Then we restore DC-DR data link and I start DR to DC replication.  When I look at WRKCSMON screen at the Backup node and press F5 to refresh from time to time, I see additional information at the bottommost line of the screen below.   The percentage and the file name keep changing slowly as I keep pressing F5. It has been about an hour now and I see about 15 file names so far. Many times, the line is blank for sometimes before a new name appears.  It appears like a progress report but I would like to know how to interpret it.  Is it a progress of *SAVRST or *RBR or some other information?  This information does not appear in Primary node. Hello I am hoping someone can help with an AccutermIO query. We are following the instructions..... AccuTerm Release Information V8 and we are trying to create a profile. 2 Profiles already exist, thet were created prior to Rocket aquiring Zumasys. When we create a profile we are not getting a check box display for the Role (admin/dev).  We create the profile anyway, but when we launch Accuterm we get the error No profiles have been created. Please login to Portal and create one.  Can anyone please advise on what we are doing wrong. Hello, I have a script to launch the  ACCUTERM GUI application from a shortcut in desktop but when the user closes the GUI application the ACCUTERM session is still active letting the user to play around, so the user has to close again the ACCUTERM session.  We need a script to launch the GUI application and when closing it also close ACCUTERM session so the user gets back to desktop screen.   I tried  the  following script but it is not working: .Output "RUN GUIBP GUIAPPLICATION" & ChrW$(13).WaitFor 0, 8, "o:" .Output "QUIT" & ChrW$(13) I will appreciate any advice. In our system, we have folders like1. swrun\\acucorp\\bin2. swrun\\activex The DLL works only when the DLL is placed and registered in swrun\\acucorp\\bin.What do I need to have to do to work the DLL from swrun\\activex folder? I've been asked this before, but did not have an answer!  On Unidata -- in a dictionary -- to do a multivalue OCONV, the command is SUBR("-OCONVS",X,Y) The question I got asked:   "Why is there a "-" in front of that code?" And I was not sure!  Is that because it's a system function?  It's not actually documented as to WHY -- just that it IS. I just looked over the Using UnIData 8.2.4 doc to make sure it was not something documented.
