Challenge – Before Zena Before implementing Rocket® Zena, Brasilcap’s IT ecosystem was becoming increasingly complex. The IT team was struggling to keep up with the company’s workloads, especially since so much was executed manually. Brasilcap’s IT operators had to perform screen-to-screen access and execute business processes manually, none of which could run concurrently. Brasilcap wanted to automate critical workflows, improve control, bolster security, reduce errors and increase visibility into production processes. Human-in-the-loop (HITL) automation integrates human oversight and decision-making into automated systems, allowing humans to guide and validate the automation process.   A simple example is where a workflow pauses for an end-user to accept or reject an activity before continuing execution. One alternative to this is fully autonomous processes. However, HITL ensures business critical and compliance-sensitive actions get human oversight before they are finalized. The growth in capability around AI is driving change in Workload Automation and is moving us closer to Human-on-the-loop (HOTL) as a steppingstone towards full autonomy which can conjure up scary analogies popularized in Sci-Fi movies. Rocket has HOTL capabilities now within AI Predictive Pulse, an AI/ML combo providing insights into job and process execution that includes fault detection, SLA protection and predictive analysis. I'm in a situation where I am looking to use the Zena Flow construct, i.e.   I've never used it before and am trying to figure out how it works. The scenario is that in a previous task, I procure a variable, [TASK.VARIABLE.gl_parse] which is passed on to subsequent tasks.  I then want to call certain tasks that call certain APIs in the subsequent tasks, depending on the value in [TASK.VARIABLE.gl_parse]. I believe the Flow Construct would be the route to go here.  But what would the coding look like?  I gather it is in the Value section of the Flow Construct: But how would it work here?  I'm thinking check the value of [TASK.VARIABLE.gl_parse], and then would need to call the corresponding API task.  But how would that work exactly?  Assume there are REST Web Services defined, and they are to be called depending on the value stored in [TASK.VARIABLE.gl_parse]. ------------------------------Scott LackeyRocket Software Forum Member------------------------------

Rocket Zena and Enterprise Orchestrator (EO) has a RESTful API interface that allows you to interact with the system programmatically. This means you can integrate Zena and EO with other applications, automate tasks, and access data in a flexible and efficient way.
