HelloWe are trying to migrate our application from Uniface 9.7 to 10.3 but we are facing compilation errors in many of our forms ;The problems seems to be linked to inheritance :Our original Form has an entity with specific <Local proc> code in order to bypass the model entity local proc.But after form migration when compiling we get errors because the form has in her module list the model entity local proc that should not have been there;How can we avoid getting the entity default Local Proc in our form ?Any idea ? 🙂

I am trying to run an application in Uniface 9.7.5 installed on a server on the network from a PC. Uniface and the application are installed on the server. On the PC only the Uniface execution command. So far I have not managed to work, it does not find some libraries like (C: \\ Usys9xx \\ commom \\ adm \\ usys.asn)I can't find where it's going to change the route.Any ideas?Thank you

Hello together,we're just migrating from 9.7.04.02 to 9.7.05.037.In our environment there is an application which sends a message via umsgutil.exe to Uniface. In 9.7.04 all works well. In 9.7.05 either the ASYN is not fired or no message is sent.Interestingly, when I use the old umsgutil.exe from 9.7.04 in the 9.7.05 environment it works. I know, umsgutil.exe has changed with 9.7.05. But I have no idea right now, if I'm running into a bug or if I have to do some further settings. Does anyone can help me?Kind regards,Michael.

Hi Unifacers,We need to connect to an SMTP Server implementing SMTP AUTH protocol on port 587.We found at this page a reference to "UPOPMAIL NOT supporting Secure SMTP"; as far as I know Secure SMTP means SMTP over SSL or TLS on port 465.Is there any way as of U9.7.05 to connect to an SMTP-AUTH server?Thanks in advance for any answer, tips or suggestion.Regards,Gianni
