We have forms with non fixed fields... The fields can be hidden, and the width of them can be changed. What is needed is the form scrollbar to be applied if needed dynamically.   The form in question is defined as secondary in the IDE (as it acts as a sort of popup) The obvious place would be (newinstance) where we define the width of the form to be activated. However, it seems the decision to display the scroll bar or not is determined by the width defined in the frm in DICT via the IDE (and NOT the newinstance width) Have I missed something or can this be resolved? V10.04.01 ---- Edit: The instance width is the width to display the window of the frm which  is defined in the code The frm width is defined in the frm and can not be changed in code. The ideal is if the frm width was also part of the instance properties....   --- -----------------------------

For some characters we receive escaped codes such as \\uxxxx Example : \\u00E9 for an 'é', \\u0027 for an apostrophe, etc Is there a Uniface function to convert them ? Hello, I am getting help from ChatGPT for scripts in Python, HTML, Javascript or for complex SQL requests. It is incredibly efficient to create a script from a quick description of what I need.I have tried it with Uniface but ChatGPT 3.5 is creating code that I don't recognise as Procscript. I could test quickly once with ChatGPT 4 and it looked better but I did not have the possibility to check whether the code was correct.Has anyone already tried ChatGPT for Uniface ? Hi @all, we are now migrating our application from Oracle to Postgres DB. The former procedures in the ORA packages are converted into PGS functions returning void. The literal function and parameter names are switched into lowercase in the SSP-signatures. Those functions which have only in-parameters delivers an ODBC error for an invalid parameter type. After changing the parameter from in to in/out the call works. But IMHO this can't be the right solution. When we use an entity field as parameter the call flags the field as modified and the Lock-trigger is fired.Is this a bug or is there any other solution avialable? TiA! Hi all,  last couple days I am facing an issue with starting my IDF or Uniface app. When I start the IDF then it takes way too long to start, I mean 5-10min or even more. That is when I am not connected on VPN. When I am connected to VPN then it is stacked almost forever. It will not start. I will just get the initial window with UD6 development environment (Not responding). And that's it. I have to cancel the job with task manager. I need the VPN because of the license server.  So it looks that the VPN is making it worse but even without VPN it is a real issue. Sometimes it starts after long period (5-10min) but sometimes it does not start.  Any idea what is wrong or what should I check? Or any clue why the start of the IDF is so slow? We are surveying to see what code page can be used within Rocket Uniface 10.4 EE and the Oracle database (version 19c). In doing so, we would like to be able to use the euro sign and diacrites such as ä, ë, è, é, ç, etc.   In the current situation, Rocket Uniface 10.3 EE (in combination with an Oracle database) is installed with 'Western European (CP1252-ISO 8895-1)'. Hi We have created a REST API with a uniface component. This API calls some services to extract data from the database. When the service is called from the API (so running with userver), the 'select' is made on [table.model] table in the MSS database, so MSS returns that the object name is invalid Example : select [pcli_cd] from [pclient.parametres] where 1=0 When the service is called from a standard client/server form, the 'select' is made on [table] table in the MSS database Example : select [pcli_cd] from [pclient] where 1=0 My question is : how to avoid the model name to be added to the table name ? Hi We are writing our first REST Api with Uniface 9.7.04. In the DSP, we extract the input parameters with $webinfo("input"). When calling our API with a test tool (postman, SoapUI, etc)  with PUT with Json data, the input parameters are received. But when calling the same API with the same tool and the same parameters but with GET, the input parameters are always empty. Is it normal to not receive the json input data when called with GET? Is there a simple way of having selectdb pay attention to the retrieve profile? Rocket Uniface RMS Patch 10.4.02-040 Fixes UNI-35676 UFW error issued by the RMS installer script on Debian Linux 12 UNI-35602 The SCP server doesn't start on SUSE linux 15 SP5 UNI-35577 On Oracle Linux 9 the RMS install script does not recognize the OS as one that supports the SCP server. UNI-35559 The log file, generated by the RMS install script, misses the start part.
