Hello - I'm running the debugger on a unidata program and need to set a variable to null. I remember there is a way to do this but do not remember how. I know you can always set a variable to a value through the \\ command...but to set to null. I'm remembering something like save or sv...can't quite remember.  Can anyone help here? Hi Team, We have several customers in APAC who are actively paying yearly maintenance renewals, however, they are in unsupported versions (as low as version 3). We have now at least 2 customers (both in version 3) who are planning to upgrade to the latest version and asking how licensing will work during the upgrade process/project, which, depending on the complexity of the application may take 3 to 9 months. Our sales and presales team are divided on how to approach this. Sales, of course wants some license revenue out of this. To resolve, we found this link

Greetings, all!Environment - UV 11.3.5 on AIX 7.2 Whenever we stop and restart UV, the current logs in $uvhome get saved into the $uvhome/saved_logs folder.  It's not just a straight copy, though.  It appears that the current values get appended to the end of the respective files that were already in saved_logs, but it also appears that some of the information from the front ends of the existing saved_logs files gets removed.  Is there documentation somewhere that says how these files are managed?  Are each of the log files handled the same, or is each managed according to its own unique set of rules?  Are these rules configurable by us? Some of these files can get fairly large, so we're looking to be able to predict/manage what is going to happen, as well as ensure the sizing of the associated filesystem is correct.Thank you!------------------------------Brian Paige------------------------------

We are upgrading from V827 to V831. (And I might add without Lalitha who is out on extended leave...) We have completed the code merges for our customizations applied to the upgraded skels/panels/REXX/messages. However, when we tested a build, our loadlib was not included in the concatenation. We have resolved that specific issue (updating the CMN$$JBL skel to include it for our &ZMFCTST), but that led us to ask the question "Are we doing customizations correctly?" We can continue to plow through comparing pre-upgrade skels to post-upgrade, but wonder if there is a better approach. Is it possible to get an hour consultation on upgrading to V831? We have followed the migration guide, and have a conversion-day playbook that we followed. How can I install NetExpress 5.1 on Windows 11?  When I try I get an error message "Error 2878.  On the dialog PreReqs the control PreReqList has a possible value:  Either Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 1 or later, Microsoft Windows 2000 Service Pack 4 or later, Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 Service Pack 6 or later, Microsoft Windows 2003 Ser ..." Do I need a new version of the software - and if so where do I get it from?  Or is there a way of cheating the system by copying a few files from an XP or Windows 7 PC onto the Windows 11 PC? I am assuming it is possible to run NetExpress 5.1 development IDE on Windows 11? Rocket iCluster will stop working properly on IBM i V7R4 and V7R5 when IBM PTF SJ03017 is installed.   Background: The parameters of the QUSLOBJ API have been changed in PTF SJ03017 which causes the iCluster command DMMRKPOS to fail. Affected iCluster versions: All Guidance: Do not install PTF SJ03017 until iCluster is patched Fixed in version: iCluster 9.3.1 (scheduled for May 2025)  

Using Rocket TE VT v10.2.1.4761, I do not have hotspots enabled at all.  However, whenever I type a long string of numbers with a minus sign or a dot in the middle, the emulator displays it as "xxxxxxxxxx".  For example "1234567890-1234567890" displays as "1234567XXXXXXX4567890". I was at a breakpoint in my managed code program and I was looking at the properties listed for a menu strip.  One of them was "DisplayedItems" with a heart shaped icon beside it.  It is a collection and I can see the items in the collection at the breakpoint.  I would very much like to use the information in this collection in my program but that property is not available to my program.  Why not?  If my menu strip is too wide to see in my window, I would like to increase the width of my window.  This collection would tell me if any of the menu items are not displayed.  ------------------------------Lee RobinsonSoftware Development ManagerNew Hampshire Admin Office of the CourtsConcord NH US------------------------------

Hello, I've looked online, and from what I can tell: there's no information on either of the question. We've run into an issue where a call is issued, but the operation is terminated or cancelled, but there's no way to signal the same to UniVerse. The other problem we've is: we "believe" we're hitting the maximum connections allowed, which leads to delayed responses on the front end as the call "waits" for the connection to become available again. I wonder is there a way to check the connection availability ahead of time, instead of just sitting there. Thank you!
