Has anyone added support for python in ChangeMan ZMF?#ChangeManZMF

I'm embarrassed to even ask this. I've seen the answer a couple of times in the documentation but can't ever seem to find it if I'm looking for it. How do you disable the automatic paging where the program prompts the user to hit the return key to continue. I know I can use the NO.PAGE option when running the program but I want to disable it in the program itself. Most of these programs were written for native Pick and were never designed to handing automatic paging. That's why I want to disable it in the program and not in the menu that run's the program.

The ALFFLTR member delivered in the distributed ZMF SAMPLES library lists all default log events that will be delivered to the NTFYURL address for processing. As explained in this member itself, all of the listed events are delivered commented in this member which results in all of them being emitted to the NTFYURL software (e.g. tomcat, SBM, etc.). Care needs to be taken when changing or uncommenting any single event in, or adding an additional, non-default event to, the ALFFLTR dataset/member. This will result in ONLY the uncommented events being sent. I have a program that runs from the command prompt from my program.  This is the command:  cmd.exe /C cscript //nologo D:\\NEW_MSI\\MSI_DATA\\MakeGuid.vbs > D:\\NEW_MSI\\MSI_DATA\\myguid.txt I am using CALL "SYSTEM" USING WS-CMD-LINE to run the command. (the command above is placed in WS-CMD-LINE before the call to "SYSTEM". The command works great from a dos prompt, but when I use it in my program - it does not work at all. The myguid.txt file is never generated.  Does anybody have any suggestions on how I can get this to work?

Can customized Qooxdoo widgets be used in MX Web? What configuration changes would we need to make to enable the use of such a widget? Knowing that Visual Cobol for Eclipse is not compatible with DialogSystem instructions. If I would like to adapt a COBOL program that uses DialogSystem, is there any example or document that explains how it should be done? Is there in VC for Eclipse any tool similar to DS that facilitates the migration?

I have a client who started their business on R83 and are now on D3 Linux. All of their USERS were created long before D3 and by my former partner. In every account on this particular system, regardless of where you are, a CTRL-BREAK re-executes the MD item - BASIC or PROC - when you type END from the debugger. I reached out to Rocket support and was unable to get a solution, so I poked around in my old reliable R83 manual and found that if Attribute 9 in the USERS item is set to R, that's exactly what will happen. If it's set to L, then END leaves the user at TCL. The moral? Hello, I am getting help from ChatGPT for scripts in Python, HTML, Javascript or for complex SQL requests. It is incredibly efficient to create a script from a quick description of what I need.I have tried it with Uniface but ChatGPT 3.5 is creating code that I don't recognise as Procscript. I could test quickly once with ChatGPT 4 and it looked better but I did not have the possibility to check whether the code was correct.Has anyone already tried ChatGPT for Uniface ? I have noted that the MV BASIC extension creates ".vscode" subdirectories with a simple settings.json file containing "settings": {    "[rocket-mvbasic]": {      "editor.codeLens": false    }} This appears to be how the Code Lens functionality is turned off by default. If I adjust this file to use "true" instead of "false" then I do get the functions and variables presented in the Outline view as well as in the breadcrumbs facility. I inherited a substantial application written in Micro Focus COBOL.  I need to make changes to the way the connection strings are used.  I sniffed through the code - and found 22 (!) with CONNECT USING statements.  The application contains hundreds of programs, each compiled and deployed individually, with a handful of EXEC SQL statements - and as far as I can tell every one of them has no problem getting to the database.  How are all the other programs connecting?

As the result of the post by Bryan Buchanan I have started have a look at the Java API to interact with D3. I'm working on AlmaLinux 8.9 with D3 10.4 installed. I have downloaded the file MVSPJavaAPI.zip and successfully compiled and used then MVSPJavaAPI/mvspTest/mvspTest.java program. The program connected instantly and all data accesses were instant. Using that as my basis I created a console program but ran into an issue with connecting. The connection in my program is taking 2 to 3 seconds to complete. Data access is instant after the connection occurs. At the same time I am seeing the following message lines in /var/log/messages: Mar 10 20:49:13 Alma8 systemd[1]: Started D3's per connection MVSP server for pick0 (127.0.0.1:53850). As the result of a post by Bryan Buchanan I have started looking at using the Java API to access Rocket D3 10.4 on AlmaLinux 8.9. I have downloaded the file MVSPJavaAPI.zip and successfully compiled and run MVSPJavaAPI/samples/mvspTest.java. When I used this program the connection was instant and all other accesses were also instant.  I then attempted to create my own simple Java program based on what I could see in mvspTest.java. When I ran it I found that there was a 2 to 3 second delay when making the connection. The data retrieval part of the program worked and was instant. Hi!  I am playing around with the software, trying to update our conversion programs to no longer use Database Connectors.   In my program I have an input file that is an RM\\COBOL ISAM file, and when I run the program, it is giving me a 9+,00 error code.  I have tried adding the  $SET  DIALECT(RM)  FILETYPE(21) command to the beginning of the program to let the program know that I am using an RM\\COBOL file, BUT, when I do that, the embedded SQL commands are no longer recognized by the compiler, and I can't get the program to compile.  Is there a way to do this, or am I stuck using Database Connectors for my conversion programs?

A new hotfix build of ChangeMan ZMF for Eclipse (ZMF4ECL) 8.3, ZMF4ECL 8.3.0 Hotfix 006 (build 690), is now available for customer use. Good afternoon, D3 hosted on a Windows 2008R2 Server I have recently learned how to add printers to the D3 user-coldstart macro. This is the third printer I have added. The two previous are working perfectly. The last printer I created using a Brother printer (PCL) Windows driver. However all the text coming out of the printer starts with %!, which is an indicator of a postscript text stream. This causes pages of postrscript text to spew out of the printer. I have tried:  changing the driver removing and adding the queue again using a new queue (eg; added a new port 15 and 16) no difference We have 14 printers that work, this one is giving me fits.
