Uniface®

Hello, We have several clients who run Uniface 9 on Uniface Anywhere without any issues. All of the working environments are using either Windows Server 2012 R2 or 2016. However, a new client of ours has requested that we run it on Windows Server 2019. When running the Uniface application on the server, it works fine. But when using Uniface Anywhere, the GOLD KEY does not function properly. We have set the $SWAP_GOLD_PROFILE in the ASN file. Here are the issues we are encountering: Typing "*" (Shift + 8) results in only "*" being displayed. Typing "*" (from the numeric keypad) results in "GOLD*" (which is the only correct behavior). Typing ">" (Shift + .) results in only ">" being displayed. Typing "=" results in "=" only. This happens even when using the same ASN file both locally and in the Uniface Anywhere application. Hello, we use a list as an input parameter (type string) to call a function in Postgre via SSP. While testing I found out that the list has a length limit of 254 characters. If I call the function direct in pgAdmin much longer strings can used as parameter. Is this this a known limitation? Is there a setting to raise this limit? TiA! Here is a bit of code I have been playing with:- Background: Version 10.04.03 has deprecated the command scan and it has been superseeded with $scan. The $scan command can be used within an if condition. This may help with the deprecated scan problem.  It may need tweaking for various situations.  It should speed up the clean-up process. We're attempting to set a timeout on HTTP requests by using the SET_TIMEOUT command. The documentation states that the -12 status means "An internal error occurred", which doesn't really lend any insight to what the issue might be.  What would cause this sort of error that would cause a timeout not to be set correctly, outside of an incorrect time format (which is a -13 status)?  Is there additional logging that I can put in place that would show me more detail or give me an indication of where to look next? Hi, does anyone know or have experience with upgrading just the tomcat version in the Uniface installation ? We have the upgrade to Uniface 10.4.03.x  (coming from 10.4.02.43) in the pipeline, but it takes a while from installing  it till getting it  installed  for our Customers. Would it be possible to upgrade just the Tomcat version from Tomcat 9.0.43  to Tomcat 9.0.97 or Tomcat 10.x ? Tnx in advance ! We have certain entities that we use like templates - all the code we need is in the entity. In the past, I could remove unused procs in the entity, once it was painted on the form. I did that in 10.4.2 and ACK - I actually removed it from the ENTITY.  Not what I wanted to do. Hi, I'm still pretty new in Uniface coding and I don't reach to solve a problem that is maybe really simple. I have an editboxlong field defined in several forms, sometimes in grids, sometimes not. For one of these grids which is a search form, I need to change the behaviour of the field so that once a have type a value in it and pressed the enter button, I start a trigger instead of going on a new line.I thought I could do it with $properties("fieldname") =  "multiline=false" in the a sub_entry in the exec operation of the form but unfortunately, the behaviour remains the same : the cursor goes on a new line instead of having the search launched. Of ourse, I could go in the property window of the field in the form and uncheck the checkbox of the multiline property. But actually, I'm looking for a standard solution for all search forms that is applied in the coding. Does anybody has an idea of why the behaviour doesn't change and what I coul
