I need to stop below entries getting written into application logs, already tried with $IOPRINT as 1, still below statements are getting written in the logs. What additional setting/config needs to be changed here ?S, mode: M, on file/table: table/filename index: X SHere is the log snippet for reference.

Hi,I have the following code in eg. a button detail-trigger.vTreeRepr = $fieldvalrep(rubtrad.myent) ;do something with vTreeRepr $fieldvalrep(rubtrad.myent) = vTreeRepr rubtrad.myent = "1" ;Set to begin of tree, as here "1" is the first key-value. If the tree is big this doesn't work fully out, as the scroll bar isn't set to the top of the tree, although the "cursor" is set to the first node.Leaving away $fieldvalrep(rubtrad.myent) = vTreeRepr, its working correctly. So making another button and doing two clicks will work.I found some kind of bug report about this, but the problem was then using $valrep, which now seem to work, however I can't use that. There was also a workaround using the Asynchronous Interrupt-trigger, but it didn't work with $fieldvalrep, ie. one should trick Uniface by setting rubtrad.myent = "1" in the Asynchronous interrupt-trigger and do a postmessage.(Unfortunately I can't find that bug-report anymore.)Has anyone had the same problem,

hello community,as far as you know is it possible for Uniface to run asyncronous instances of a proc at the same time? I have a proc that does something for, lets say, 600 records of a SQL table, and this work takes a lot of time: i was wondering if I can run simultaneously first 200 records in one thread, 200 in another, 200 in another one. At the same time.I can do this by running 3 separate uniface.exe command lines but that's very tricky and can be done only in server behaviors with no interaction at all.In my mind there should be something named like "CALL/ASYNC procname" that executes (with no return values?) some procHave you ever faced this thing, or there is something I don't know that can be used for this purpose?thank you

Hi,in the ProcScript Editor there isn't a TOOLBAR, like in the "Trigger Editor fo Menus", so useful functions like:Format the ProcScript, adding indentation for readability.Convert the selected ProcScript to commentsConvert the selected comments to ProcScript codecannot be applied.Is there a simple way to do the same?Thanks.Paolo Lovati

The help says go to More Editors>Panels/Glyphs/Menus. But these options don't exist.I'm using 10.3.02.047.

Hi FreaksWe are faced with a change in UnifAce licensing in UF10, so there are two question arose:First:Does anybody knows a source, where I can find detail informaton about the lisence modells 🙂Not only that there are different modells but also more technical.e.g  How many session can start on a workstation under "concurent-license".   Does every session count or only the access by a client ?  What are the criteria (hardware components) for a node-locked oneAnd so on...Second:I did heard that DLM is out of the race (or not longer used in the manner before) and another tool will do the job.Are the license-modells still the same und what did change to install them at customer siteTIAIngo

What methods are people using to find the dimensions for an image.  We want to be able to validate image files within a certain dimension range and file size range.  I have discovered how to get to file size but not image dimensions.  Any help is appreciated.

My menu bar for my uniface application looks different now that i have migrated from uniface 9.7.05 to Uniface 10.3.02. The menu items on the menu bar are now spaced out further. How can i get the menu bar displaying as it did in uniface 9.7.05?

Today, we received a problem report about loading dates for 2021 with xmlload and using nls settings like$NLS_FORMAT NlsLocale$NLS_LOCALE en_USIn this Uniface 9.7.04 environment, the result after xmlload for xml (created with xmlsave)for datetime fields with the MMM d, yyyy h:mm:ss a format in a datetime fieldis incorrect. The time value is lost when the year is different from the current year.The content of the xml seems correct. The problem occurs after xmlload.If you run into a similar problem then this information may be of interest to you:The problem no longer occurs in supported Uniface version 10.3.02.It also works fine in Uniface 9.7.05.The problem can be worked around by setting $nlslocale="" in the assignment file.

Hi Unifacers,I have developed, tested and ready my dedicated form to drive customize testing actions for any component.Now, still in U9 for time being later on in U10, I need to have it starting up as default any time a developer ask to test while modifying ANY component.Unfortunately I was NOT able to define as persistent into "Editor Setup" the "Test component selection" value to "Other": "TEST_FROM_IDF", which is the name of my custom test component driver. Every time a developer exit from current session values defined in those red fields are lost.I've digged into System and User Preferences without finding a solution.Is there a way to defined a specific default for the "Test component selection" field and having it as persistent value any time a new session is started?Thanks in advance for any tips or trick...Regards,Gianni

Hello,after migration to Uniface 10 last week, we have discovered, that in a special case the store/complete does not fire the write trigger as it does in Uniface 9.The form that does not store the data is a containded form in a TABEX in a parent form.The write trigger is only activated when data in the form is entered by keyboard.If the data is only changed by proccode the write trigger is not activated.Values Returned by store in $statusValueMeaning1No data was stored because no modifications were made to the data since the last retrieve or store statement.
