In this part of the eLearning about DSP Web Development after downloading the first 2 examples I had no problem executing them before and after making modifications.In the 2nd 2 examples  (Using JavaScript in webtriggers & Dynamically changing HTML Layout)  both of them gave an error before even making any changes.Is it my configuration on U10CE V10,4 or has anyone else had the same experience? Hi All, I'm sure I've posted on this matter before but I just had a bit of a wobble understanding why my code wouldn't compile, until I notice the variable I had used started with the word NEXT (as in Next_Available) and the D3 compile went out and took another shot of tequila and said 'nada - not today hombre'So, just put it out there NEXT (suffix not allowed) and I'm sure there may be others - like NOT and FOR and ...Does anyone care to comment?------------------------------Stefano GallottaManaging MemberSimply Red Open SystemsMilnerton ZA------------------------------

Hi  While installing the RMS license manager in Linux, I got the below message.  FirewallD is not runningCould not open port 5093. You will need to do this manually later. However, I started the license manager using the command : systemctl start rms Also I found the port is open. Does the port opens when I start the license manager for the first time ? (Because the port was not opened during the installation) Does the firewalld should be running always ? We are constantly improving our capabilities, practices, and our people to deliver products and services that meet the highest security standards.  However, even with this commitment to security excellence, there are still cases where vulnerabilities can be present. The Rocket Software Security Teams were recently made aware of a vulnerability in the widely utilized Apache Java logging library Log4j2 package that can allow an attacker unauthenticated remote code execution (RCE) access to the servers that the run this software. This vulnerability has been tracked as CVE-2021-44228 and is classified as severe. If you operate a hybrid environment and use mainframe data in the cloud, you are probably doing this: Use FTP or some other tool to transfer mainframe generated data to cloud Your cloud native app picks its up, does some processing, say, some advanced analytics on the data. You transfer back the processed data from cloud to mainframe for further processing. We are investigating alternatives including being able to accomplish all of this via a single mainframe job that could interact and synchronize processing with your cloud-native app as well as enable your existing jobs to interact with cloud with minimal or no JCL changes at all!  We are very interested in showing you this solution and understanding how well it might support your business needs. Is your organization using Slack?  It seems to be dominating the 'business-social-media'  sector, but there are other tools like Microsoft Teams.We have been using Slack for 1 year now and I find it invaluable but with some caveats. First one being, if you are sending out information to large groups, how do you know people are reading it? I constantly worry about that - but I realise that you have the same jeopardy if you send out a group email. They are ways to track in Outlook but it's not pretty.I think the problem could be solved if 'professionals' were not so reticent with using the power of emoji's. I definitely used to regard the use of emoji's as juvenile and not-business-like. But in the last year I have done a 180 on that.
