visual cobol program - calling a PCO program - animation shows it calls the PCO, and then continues on - but the PCO seems to be doing NOTHING, even tho we put a display as the first line to execute in the the pro cobol pgm ....  where to start looking at what is wrong

Roadmap library 

We create update STD calendars in December to exclude dates (holidays, etc.) to prevent jobs using the calendar from loading into the schedule.  These are normally updated once per year, however, one of the calendars were updated 2X since 10/2025.  While I don’t think it’s possible, does anyone know if there is function, job, etc., we can run that would show the calendar Holidays prior to 10/2025 for a specific calendar?

Hi.Following our migration from MF Enterprise Developer to Rocket Cobol for VSCode, we are experiencing some Language Server errors in VSCode that do not show up in MF, but we are unable to figure out how to fix them. We assume is probably related to missing or incorrect compiler directives, but we are not sure. This is the actual configuration of Cobol directives in MF: ​​​​​​And this is the configuration of Cobol Default Directives on Rocket Cobol (basically replicating the ones in MF, but including a few extra ones, like assign”external” to fix some COBCH0005 errors)  However, with this configuration, we are seeing some errors, such as COBCH0641 , COBCH0628 or COBCH0002, and  we have no clue how to fix them. Here are some of them: (at least we can see the OUTLINE section seems to be working fine and recognizing Cobol structures) Any idea how to ensure Language Server behaves in the same way as MF ? We are NOT using directives.mf files so far, but direct configuration on the Rocket C

Just putting this out there. I’ve had a couple of cases where people upgraded D3 to 10.3.3 or 10.3.4 and started having weird problems with MVSP. In both cases, we upgraded MVSP to 1.8.21 and it solved the issue. When upgrading D3, it’s not good to simply restore your existing MVSP account, especially if you’re going to 10.4. Anybody out there ready to upgrade, please contact me so I can get you the MVSP 1.8.21 version and help you install it. The reason it’s not posted in the RCP Downloads is because the pseudo tape is NOT a patch but rather an account-save, and the steps are different. We can post all day long, but afraid that the instructions will not get read and someone will try to use it as a patch.Most of you know where to find me (bcram@rocketsoftware.com) and many of you already have my cell phone number. I am converting code from native COBOL to .NET and am looking for suggestions whereby in native COBOL I am using a dictionary that is set as an external item so that it can be referenced by a number of programs (DLL’s) but as this is not supported in .NET so I am trying to figure out a viable alternative.Any thoughts or suggestions?

The Recoverable File System (UVRFS) re-introduced in UniVerse 14.2.1 is an optional add-on feature that can be purchased through RBC for Server and Enterprise Editions of UniVerse. How to Order UVRFS via RBC:UVRFS will automatically appear in the list of add-ons in Rocket Business Connect (RBC). The user count for UVRFS will match your UniVerse license user count. Simply check the box to add UVRFS to your license. RBC will automatically apply your contracted rate.For further details on UniVerse optional features please refer to the MV Handbook, available from the RBC documentation page.

We are looking at trying to enhance some of our VUE apps to be more reactive with the DB.  I was wondering if MVIS supported any webhooks for VUE applications.   We have build a nodejs server that will communicate with our D3 server and watch for changes and then our VUE app will await the webhook and update the application with the changes.  The proof of concept works but I really hate adding one more server, nodejs in the mix of things that could go wrong.   We are still using the Zumasys MultiValue Dashboard interface for all our web to D3 services. I have two bp file that both exist in Github: IO.BP and WEBAPPS.BP.  I have a subroutine in WEBAPPS.BP that I am updating in vscode.  It has this include statement “$INCLUDE IO.BP IO.INS”  vscode still shows all the variables using that file as undefined variables.  I have tried adding them to the includeMapping, but it still doesn’t fix it.  Both folders exist in c:\git-workspace\IO.BP and c:\git-workspace\WEBAPPS.BP.  This is for Universe. I also tried adding the folder to the workspace. How can I fix this in vscode?
