HelloI was wondering if it would be possible to have the 3DSKEL variables available in the HLLX exitsI have written a peace of code that when needed I retrieve the one(s) I need at that moment, but it would be nice that they would be available The exit will work very often on a function for a package, component belonging to an application. Hi,We're seeing long compile times in our Uniface 10.4 development environment, with more complex components taking upwards of 90 to 120 seconds to compile each time. Though we've never had super quick compilation under Uniface 10, in particular, this does seem to have got worse, though I'm not really sure what would be considered a "normal" compile time.Has anyone else seen something similar, or have any ideas what might be contributing (or what to look in to)? Hello, When in 27x132 (mod5) mode w/ ISPF "frames" the screen w/ dots on the left and right sides.   The Passport PC TO HOST keyboard END OF LINE function jumps to the non-disp character past the dot rather than jumping to the end of my data.  Other emulators that I use do not have this issue.   Any suggestions are welcome.  Thank you.

Forgive me if this has been asked before.  We're running an emulation called BluVista and we're thinking of slowly migrating to Accuterm or wIntegrate. I see in Accuterm , using some emulations that I should be able to get an answerback.  I wrote a sample program to send a CHAR(5) to trigger the answerback and when I run the program I do in fact see the answerback string displayed on the screen but I cannot figure out how to capture that string programmatically.  I've tried input, inputif, etc and I never see the string in the input buffer. Has anyone on here successfully used the answerback string in Accuterm? Hi all Is there a way tu call pip via RUNPY? The statement filebox allows user in the MS file selection form to choose the option "all files" and select an arbitrary file, although the filebox option for file types is restricted only to certain file types. The request to Uniface development is that after file selection Uniface itself checks the selected file: Is the file type correct? If not then $status is not 0

We use the $timeout setting in the ASN file of our application, but this does not have an impact if a user leaves an askmess/filebox/… statement unanswered. This can lead to long lasting 'open transactions' on the database, which in his turn does not help the overall performance. We investigated the possibility of the UTIMER function, but since this does not capture 'inactivity', this is not an option: we do have large processes which needs time. And it seems that this UTIMER is even 'disabled' when an AskMess is used. Regarding the open transactions, we tried to avoid these using commits/rollbacks (after retrieve instructions) but this doesn't really closes the transaction because Uniface needs to complete its hitlist. Hi all, i have a bit of an issue with U2 ODBC trying to connect to uniVerse DB. I installed (at the then time v530 of client tools (ODBC 64bit) onto a workstation and then i was able to connect to the DB and query. Since then i have installed ODBC tools onto another workstation/pc/server (both on premise and within Azure) and completed the same setups i did previously but on these they do not work. i keep getting the same error message (as shown at the bottom of this post) i cannot use the existing workstaiton/PC as that client is not the one i will be completing the connection from when in prod (as it is my workstation used for testing) and also cannot use as unirpc is locked down to specific IP (the new workstation/PC i want to use in Azure).  With this being said, if i try to install ODBC onto another workstation, same result, doesn't connect. i am using both the ODBC Tester from the ODBC tools and the Test Connection opt
