Hi,I’m using Client Side JavaScript in version 10.6.1.I created a popup/dialog page with the page name V100_popup.In my main page V200_main, I have a button. When the button is clicked, I need to open the popup page using Client Side JavaScript.Could someone please guide me on how to open a popup/dialog page from Client Side JS in 10.6.1?Thanks

We are in the process of upgrading from Unidata 8.2.4 to 8.3.2.  While the OpenSSL bundled with Unidata has upgraded from v1 to v3 as part of this upgrade, the OpenSSL 3 is still showing vulnerabilities as part  of our vulnerability scanningOur security team are asking if its possible for Unidata to use the version of OpenSSL thats installed as part of the Red Hat Linux and kept up to date via patching.Is this possible?  Is it a god/bad idea?  Is there a clear process for doing this?

The languge server that comes with Rocket MV Basic likes to complain about undefined variables in code such asfoo = 4bar = foo-1where it will say “Referenced undefined variable: foo-1” because it is detecting the minus operator as part of a variable name. Am I the only person experiencing this issue? Can this be addressed? It’s rather annoying as much of the code I’m looking at was last formatted with the Accuterm wED editor which did not enforce spacing around operators.

Good evening, I am testing the programmes following the upgrade to Uniface 10.4.3 and am encountering issues when calling a service located in another repository.For example, from application A, I call it using `newinstance "MY_SERVICE", LV_HANDLE` and get error code -58.MY_SERVICE is referenced in the ASN in the [FILES] section as MY_SERVICE.SVC          \\server\qxsrv10\PROJECT\SVC\MY_SERVICE.SVCI can’t find a solution.Has this happened to anyone else? Anna Lisa

Occasionally, VSCode fails to correctly load extensions. When you then attempt to click on a ZMF Explorer icon you may get a message for example. "Refresh Command not found" etc This may sometimes occur when VSCode has performed one of its regular monthly updates. When this occurs: Shutdown VSCode,  Restart VSCode Click Help - Toggle Developer Tools  Then select Console from the top line menu barAttempt to open and run the extension.Check the console for errors. We’re looking to make some performance improvements in how we manage CICS connections from our webapps.Here’s what we’ve got:Enterprise Server v11 running a single CICS region with a CISAM data store. The CICS region has a main driver program (IMO0000) and a primary transaction ID (IMDE), both of which we can consider to be constant for all requests.  The driver program is responsible for decoding the request, and delegating to the appropriate program for processing. There is no configured service, per se, that handles these requests.  The transaction (IMDE) is wired to the default mirror program (DFHMIRS), which goes back to the ECI request to find the program name (IMO0000) to invoke. 99.999% of CICS requests come through the Java webapps over TCP.  All CICS requests are completely stateless, and each opens its own socket/connection, and closes it upon completion of the request.  The other 0.001% of CICS requests are mainly one-offs that would occur rarely during batch cycles.  We wi

Hi FreaksWe have an archive system (not written with Uniface) consisting of a server and clients. The server and clients communicate via HTTPS. The server also allows a third-party system (in this case, a Uniface application) to communicate with it via HTTPS/REST.That works so far.Now I have some very large files that I want to download from the server. When I use the archive client, a PDF file over 400 MB in size appears in seconds.But when I try to download the file in Uniface, it takes over twenty minutes!What is slowing Uniface down so much here? (It can’t be the server, the HTTP interface, or the network.)Does anyone have any idea which parameters I need to pass to DUMP_FILE_CONTENTS so that it also downloads in seconds here?TIAIngo
