I have a question about CALL CBLTDLI. 1. I am working on a project to migrate cobol applications from IBM to Enterprise Server.  In our current IBM environment, we us IBM's (Websphere) MQ product to interface to/from Microsoft Biztalk.  I see that Enterprise Server supports MQ.  My question is:  is the MQ in Enterprise Server only meant to be used to connect with MQ on a mainframe or can it be used to replace the IBM MQ functionality for applications migrated off of the mainframe?------------------------------Bruce CheatwoodBWXTLynchburg VA US------------------------------

Hi folks! I made a simple client program in C to execute a transaction to MFES using CICS_ExternalCall function (casbnccl64) library in linux. Does Enterprise Developer/Server support a dataset of Direct Access organization(DSORG=DA)? If yes, how can I migrate a job that contains DSORG=DA from mainframe to ED? Hi Team, We have several customers in APAC who are actively paying yearly maintenance renewals, however, they are in unsupported versions (as low as version 3). We have now at least 2 customers (both in version 3) who are planning to upgrade to the latest version and asking how licensing will work during the upgrade process/project, which, depending on the complexity of the application may take 3 to 9 months. Our sales and presales team are divided on how to approach this. Sales, of course wants some license revenue out of this. To resolve, we found this link Micro Focus Business Support Agreement to guide us on the proper resolution. I observed this issue occurring again. Before restarting the services, I collected all the logs. Although the services appear to be up and running, they remain inaccessible. Hi We have a CICS DB2 application running in a PAC configuration with MFES V7 linux (aacessing DB2 tables on mainframe with DB2 coonect) but this application needs to acces a diffferent set of DB2 tables during the day  and the night . Now this applicacion running in z/OS uses a Plan exit on CICS to change tge DB2 plan during the day. Under MFES we dont have this DB2 plan exit so we need to have two set of executable files (one for day grcessing and the other for night processing) The question is how to change the executable being used by MFES twice a day . I want to limit the data conversion and leverage the existing EBCDIC DB2 data to be loaded into SQL Server Database with EBCDIC collation.  The DB2 data type is very straight forward (char, varchar, decimal) and we have the similar equivalent data type in SQL Server.   I would like to use the current Micro Focus COBOL program to store/retrieve EBCDIC data from SQL Server database. Hello!! When I run the visual cobol program through batch file, I'm getting below error message and don't know how to add the mentioned error file. Load error : file 'DB2INT'error code: 173, pc=0, call=1, seg=0173 Called program file not found in drive/directory I can see the 'DB2INT.obj' and 'DB2INT.idy' files in the program main folder.
