Hello, We are in discussions about connecting our ZMF instances (V83) to Service Now so that we can tie a SNOW change or incident record to a package thats related to the item.  Has anyone done this previously and if so, please provide some details etc on how this can be accomplished.  Any information would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks Clark Rogers JPMC - Columbus, OH ------------------------------Clark RogersIT System EngineerJP Morgan Chase Bank National AssociationColumbus OH United States------------------------------

Hi All, Does anyone know what is the situation with OpenQM?  We were in the throws of migrating to OpenQM (from mvBase) when it was owned and distributed by Zumasys. Since Rocket bought the product , the product seems to have gone in to hibernation.  Are OpenQM VARs concerned about the future of OpenQM? ------------------------------Richard OldsDirectorCalidore LtdUKrichard@calidore.comwww.caldiore.co.uk------------------------------

Good Day.I have a 2x Windows 2022 Server that is running in Azure that is Joined to the same Domain that is allocate in the Client office.Universe is loaded on each of the Windows Server 2022 in Azure. All my test is running of the 2 servers. I have a Domain user as well as a Local user.  I am using Dynamic Connect First Test Server 1. use the Domain user via Dynamic ConnectAfter you enter the password until it displays for you which Account you want to login .it take 23 second to pop up. See screenshot below With the local User it takes 1 second to pop up. Then, I move to the second server that is on the same domain, authenticate to the same Domain. Use the same Domain user, Same test via Dynamic Connect. The login there are 2 second to pop up. Did anyone have this issue before? Is the Issue with the Domain or Universe. If you can just point me into the correct directions to resolve this issue Thank you------------------------------Armand SteynSelf RegisteredGermiston ZA--------------

We use mvBase extensively, along with Accuterm (GUI). We need to re-platform to another mv product as mvBase is EOL. We were all ready to go down the OpenQM  route, then Rocket aquirred the product and all development seems to have stopped! ( We have been deliberating the move for some time.) We have  looked at jBase and D3.  Rocket are pushing us down the D3 the path. I don't see many posts about D3 improvements, it all appears to be Universe or Unidata. So my question is, what would be your platform of choice if you were moving away from your current mv version, or are you happy with your current platform for the foreseeable future (5+ years). Many thanks. Richard Olds------------------------------Richard OldsSnr DeveloperCalidore Computer Systems LtdGATESHEAD GB------------------------------

Hello everyone, I've been facing some challenges with server storage while using RocketSoftware Version 6.2. The main issue is related to inconsistent server storage performance, including slower data access times and occasional errors during high-demand periods. Here's the setup: Server Environment: Adequate storage capacity with RAID configuration. Software: RocketSoftware Version 6.2. Issue: Performance inconsistencies and occasional data handling errors. Steps taken so far: Optimized server storage configurations, including drive defragmentation and increasing storage allocation. Checked for firmware and software updates for both the server and RocketSoftware Version 6.2. Reviewed server logs for storage-related bottlenecks but couldn't pinpoint a specific issue. If anyone has dealt with similar problems involving server storage and RocketSoftware Version 6.2, I'd appreciate your advice. Suggestions for optimizing server storage configurations, resolving performance

Hello everyone, I'm encountering issues with an Intel server running RocketSoftware Version 5.6. The system experiences performance slowdowns during high workloads, causing tasks to lag and reducing overall efficiency. Here's the setup: Server: Intel server with high-performance processors and sufficient memory. Software: RocketSoftware Version 5.6. Issue: Delays in task execution, occasional lags, and performance drops during peak usage. Steps taken so far: Adjusted server resource allocation to prioritize RocketSoftware processes. Monitored logs to identify bottlenecks but found no clear cause. Applied all the latest updates and patches for both the Intel server and RocketSoftware Version 5.6. Despite these efforts, the performance issues persist, especially during periods of high traffic, impacting user experience and system reliability. Has anyone faced similar challenges with an Intel server and RocketSoftware Version 5.6? Any advice on optimizing server configurat

Hi everyone, I've been encountering several issues with intel server cpus while using RocketSoftware v2023.1. The main challenges include slow processing times, inconsistent performance during peak usage, and occasional system crashes when handling large-scale data operations. These problems seem to be most noticeable when performing resource-intensive tasks, such as running complex queries or managing large datasets. I've already attempted some basic troubleshooting, including updating both the intel server cpus firmware and the RocketSoftware v2023.1 version, as well as optimizing server configurations for better performance. Despite these efforts, the performance issues continue, which leads me to believe that there may be compatibility issues or a specific setting that needs adjustment when using intel server cpus in conjunction with RocketSoftware v2023.1. Has anyone else faced similar problems with intel server cpus and RocketSoftware v2023.1? Are there any specific configuration

Hi all, I am trying to find my way through the web of everything here. I have managed to get to the Visual cobol training course and that has attachments, the first being vctTraining.zip.When I try to download it, I am informed it contains a virus? and the download is blocked.

Trying to understand how the login process works on Windows when we use Accuterm and telnet to the Universe server. One of our users gets this message: Welcome to the Rocket U2 UniVerse Telnet Server.Enter user name: hrs\\BOBEnter password:This directory is not set up for uniVerse.Would you like to set it up (Y/N)? Our other users can login to the database just fine. All users should be connecting to the single Universe directory we have on the server. What directory is this BOB user trying to connect to? How do we get this user to connect to the Universe directory?  ------------------------------Gil SteidleDEVDDI System Incbrick NJ US------------------------------

Hi all,  I have been given the task of allowing users to auto login to a PICK database through Accuterm. I have been given a config ".atsc" file that when double-clicked starts Accuterm and has a tel-net connection ready to be logged into. I have recorded a Macro that allows the user to press Ctrl + F1 which then logs the user in. What needs to happen is when the config file named patmore.atsc is double clicked, the macro runs automatically after Accuterm starts. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated or if you could point me in the right direction. Haha Thanks Mike Lankester

Hi everyone,   I have a client with a successful D3 10.3 Linux installation who needs to meet auditing requirements by testing their Disaster Recovery (DR) procedure. The DR test is an annual event where they spin up a Linux server with a D3 instance and restore their database and applications.   Rocket's policy, as outlined in the Rocket MV End User Handbook (page 28), states that when running D3 in a High Availability/Disaster Recovery (HA/DR) setup, matching licenses with unique serial numbers and identical configurations are required. This includes scenarios like using U2 Replication or any secondary mechanisms for failover, all of which need additional licenses.   My client is resistant to replicating their D3 Production environment and is also hesitant about the alternative solution of maintaining a separate D3 machine with minimal configuration. They’ve pointed out that Oracle allows a separate server setup "for the duration of their DR testing" free of charge. &n
