Hi all,I am fixing a bug in my app but it seems it behaves differently on my local env. vs Virtual machine env. and I am not able to find the difference (setting, asn file, SQL management studio?).On virtual machine if via one instance of app a row is locked (store without commit) then in other instance of the app the record is not possible to retrieve it from the table.On my local env. I am using Universe 11.3.4 on a RHEL 7 box. I created a trigger on a file and I can create a log every time the file is changed but I can't figure out what program is making the change.  I can see the @TTY, @LOGNAME, and PARASENTENCE DATA but the FILENAME comes back as a blank. I have a Phantom making some of the changes and the PARASENTENCE is giving me the name of the phantom. Is there anyway I can get the Filename of the BP program?Jon CardCombined Transport Inc​​​​

Hola, He importado un antiguo proyecto en NE (EDISQL.app) a Visual Cobol. que incluye instrucciones de SQL embebido con (DBMAN=ODBC)  El proyecto en NE funciona correctamente y se compila sin errores, pero cuando lo importo desde VS2019, Archivo,Nuevo,Import NetExpres projet, parece que la importacion la realiza correctamente, pero cuando compilo la solucion por primera vez, en alguno de los programas CBL del proyecto, genera algunos errores en la linea END-EXEC.     Adjunto panttallazos de uno de los programas que da error. This could be an "I don't know what I'm doing" type issue, as I've rarely had to use this and don't live and breathe this stuff, but I'm running out of ideas so I thought I'd go into beg for help mode. I have a .net core 3.1 app written in C# that communicates with Unidata 8.2 on Windows via WebDE 5.3 using RPC calls. Everything was working great with WebDE 4.x but I'm struggling with 5.3.I can communicate with UniData and retrieve a response. The response is a @AM delimited string on the Unidata side. When I receive the response it's just one long string delimited with the default unicode character, 65533. I looked for someplace to set the character set/encoding but didn't find anything obvious. 1) Are there any updates to the documentation that show current RPC examples? The 5.3.1 docs show the method is setConnection but it appears you need to use ActiveConnection instead. I'm wondering if anything else has changed that I could be missing.2) What needs to be updated in the project s

I've reached the point of presenting a list of maintenance schedule option check boxes for constructing a work order for a vehicle. I would like to present the user with a window sized to the number of scheduled items for the vehicle which may range up to 20. The only way I see to do this is to ATGUICREATEFORM or ATGUICREATEFRAME2 within the program to control HEIGHT. Does it make any difference which or is there a way to do this from a GUI created form?Dale

Status: Delivered We are planning to upgrade the CICS 6.1 soon .when i checked with micro focus vendor got the below reponse . At this point in time there is no ZMF version that is compatible with CICS 6.1.  As you are aware CICS 6.1 was only released in June, so we haven't released a release as yet which has been tested with CICS 6.1, we have a major release panned, ZMF 8.3 in the spring next year (2023), so it will be this release that will hopefully be compatible with CICS 6.1.However to make sure that this happens you can put in an IDEA on our Community, so that our Product Management can see that you are going to upgrade CICS to 6.1.  See URL to the IDEA section on our ZMF Community page. I’m a bit confused as to which to use to create .NET applications. I’ve been using U2 Toolkit for .NET (u2.Data.Client.dll) because the documentation includes sections on how to convert from U2.UODOTNET applications. When I look at the documentation for UODOTNET (U2Clients_UniObjectsNET), I see it is only a few months older than the U2 Toolkit documentation, and it is much more detailed. Does the “U2 Toolkit” supercede the “U2 Clients”? Can I trust that all the U2 Clients documentation describing the UniObjects and how to use them (such as record locking) applies to the U2 Toolkit UniObjects? Thanks.

I have implement some web service calls in a Linux based D3 system without needing to use the MVS Toolkit. I was wanting to use the same code on a Windows version of D3 and decided to see if the MVS Toolkit would be suitable as the method of accessing D3 on Linux that I used does not appear to be suitable Windows based systems. I have created a web service named "editor" and a web service resource named "explore" for testing purposes. In order to replicate the way the Linux version works I just needed to implement a single resource and use the mvsp.get.http.* subroutines to extract the required data and then submit the data to the other subroutines that implement the business logic. All went well until I tried to use a PUT http method. My PC system loaded the latest Windows 10 Pro Version 22H2, and latest Office 365 I have in my software Active-X calls to generate MS-Word documents. This routine has worked just fine for the past 15 years. Now, when I execute my program to generate an MS-Word document, up pops a window titled "Microsoft Word Security Notice" with the message "Microsoft has blocked macros from running because the source of this file is untrusted". The file shown is "C:\\Users\\Larry\\AppData\\Local\\Microsoft\\Windows\\NetCache\\Content\\~WRC3547tmp which I am guessing is a temporary using an MS-Word template I have. I read through the documentation that you can launch and tried setting up "Trusted" directories and applicable files, but the message keeps showing. When the message does show, if I close the window, the MS-Word document does get generated.  (If I do not close it within about 7,8 seconds, all sorts of errors get generated from my program).
