Hi,I have issue with processing 0xA0 (no break space) character in Uniface. The data are stored in the DB. EWhen retrieving the data and trying to process in component I have only empty string in my variable. Do you know how to fix it? Hi,  Can anyone please let me know how I can set the configuration $search_object in Uniface 10.4 to have DBMS_FIRST in IDE asn file. I would like to the same for $search_descriptor. Seems these functions are not available in Uniface 10 anymore. Hi, we have update from CA 4 to CA 8 and and we have a problem that in version 4 don´t happens We works with BRP and verification process stops once the verifications are finished,but the process don´t dead.  If we execute the  PowerShell script on cmd, the same thing happens, we must click "Close" on the Queue Processor window to continue. We need that process dead completly when we wors in BRP. We have another question, Why don´t  we see this options? 1. Click Options > Workspace Options. 2. Click Verification > Parallel Verification tab. 3. Select either    • Run Parallel Verification in the online tool    • Run Parallel Verification in BRP 4. Adjust the Minimum Queue Processors to improve performance when using an optimized number of CPU cores.

Hello all! We are running UniVerse 11.3.4 on AIX 7.2.  We just started this combination 2 months ago, though we've been running on UniVerse/AIX for many years.  Yesterday we received a UV error during one of our users' sessions:        Integer value over the MAXINT (2147483647). Zero used.We've never encountered that error before. I've run searches through the $uvhome directory at the unix level, and the only references I can find to MAXINT are in python.tar.  We're not running Python code and have not even licensed it.We're looking at the issue, and it's most likely a data error, but is has raised my curiosity.  Where is MAXINT set?  Is it something we can control, or is it hard-coded into UniVerse somewhere?  Has anyone ever had a need to modify the value - up or down?------------------------------Brian Paige------------------------------

I want to send a ZPL string to a zebra printer from Uniface.  Is this possible?We used to do this through 3GL, but the customer has complicated the issue and now they want to be able to select a Zebra printer from the network OR have one attached directly to the machine.We are using 9.7.05 with Oracle 12c / SQL Server 2017

Prior to ChangeMan ZMF 8.2 Patch 4, components that were locked within a package could only be unlocked by the user who possessed the lock or by administrators. In ZMF 8.2 Patch 4 we added the option to add a new security entity to the application admin parms that allows additional users the ability to unlock components.
