Hi, Does anyone have some advise on how to optimise / fine tune MVIS response times on APIs given some latency when using OAuth?When changing the Http Auth type from basic (or even digest) to OAuth, I find my the response times on APIs increases significantly (as expected due to the additional token validation using the JWKS URL).I have response times using basic auth +-50ms going up to +-500ms on Oauth. Any idea if there are ways to cache the tokens on MVIS or other ways to fine tune this? The only solution we have for now is to bump up connection pools to increase capacity which is not that sustainable as we add more APIs to the server going forward. I have also played around with increasing timeouts and other config parameters on server and account level to delay failures on load. Or maybe something to consider for future in MVIS?Im using AzureAD as the Oauth provider.

Hello,We have a DSP that allows us to send emails using the Graph API. To use this API, we use the ‘msal.js’ library, which allows us to connect to our Microsoft account before sending emails.After the first connection to the Microsoft account, we use the ‘msalInstance.getAllAccounts()’ method, which retrieves the Microsoft connected user from the cache. This is essential for sending several emails in succession.This DSP is used in a form through a DSPContainer, and it works very well.Our problem is as follows: after each application restart, we have to re-enter our credentials: the ‘msalInstance.getAllAccounts()’ method has forgotten everything. As long as the application is not restarted, this method remembers the logged-in user.Do you know if it is possible to have a persistent cache after closing? From an ergonomic point of view, it is not pleasant for the user to have to log in again each time. Thank you and Happy New Year to you !

Hi,I develop solutions using SB+ and there are some common variables which are imported into just about every BASIC program that I have. Some examples are;       $INCLUDE DMSKELCODE COMMON      $INCLUDE DMSKELCODE STANDARD.EQU Can someone please tell me why my "INCLUDES" configuration is not working? COMMON Variables such as RECORD, WORK, CNT, USERDATA() etc are not detected and I get Errors in VSCODE such as;"Referenced undefined variable: RECORD" Please see below a redacted version of my configuration. We currently have a native COBOL application that uses dynamic SQL (via OpenESQL) to fetch, insert and update into Microsoft SQL.This includes varbinary(max) columns which we have working and I suspect it was based on the demo which was available from this link https://community.rocketsoftware.com/rocket-visual-cobol-28/demo-using-the-varbinary-max-column-type-from-cobol-4560. Unfortunately the link to the actual demo is no longer available.I now have the fun and games of trying to convert this logic to .NET core Visual COBOL and I am really struggling to work out how to ‘stitch’ the 65k blocks back together into the correct format and would really appreciate some guidance on this (the same goes for splitting it into the 65k blocks to insert/update).Is there any chance for the demo mentioned to be converted into .NET Core VC so that I can refer to it and work out what I need to do?Thanks in advance

Hello,I would like to report an issue that we have seen with this recent update to 2.8.0 version. We use Online editing mode provided by Rocket MV Basic Extension to connect to our development server and make coding changes. After the update, it seems like the existing online editing mode connection is NOT working and is NOT able to detect .rmvonline folder of existing setup.I have to reset my online editing workspace and make a fresh configuration file (servers.mvbasic.json). After this it is able to connect and work properly. Could you please confirm if this is an expected behavior for people working in Online Editing mode to work as mentioned or if this is a known issue in version 2.8.0? If this is an issue, is there any other recommend workaround or possible fix anticipated?Thanks,Sunny Garg

As I sit here waiting for another Windows update for our MVS Toolkit, I wonder again, and I do mean again, why there is no Linux version for this part of the tool. We stopped using MS Windows over 20 years ago, but had to go and get  a licence and set up vm server to run Windows so that we could interface with the web. Where have all our problems been? On the Windows server. Now if there was a Linux version available, we may have had to set up a vm anyway, but it would have worked a lot better and saved a lot of technician time.

We have a cash register program that prints directly to a receipt printer via LPT1.One of our customers do not have their printer setup that way, and it was working for them for years, and then all of a sudden, it stopped.  Here is what the customer has said about their setup in our support ticket: “These are IP-based Star sp712 printers that are designed to be plugged into the network (not a USB or LPT port).  Initially, we had the receipts printing and the cash drawer opening but there is something wonky in the cash register app related to if a user has the option for printer selection enabled.  Once a user with that option tries to print it boogers up the computer for all users in that when they attempt to print, it will open the drawer but not actually print.  Meanwhile, we can use a legit program like notepad or Word and it prints and opens the drawer properly.We went to another PC not at the counter and got that to work and also confirmed on both that it wasn't a windows user per
