Hello! I am hoping to reach someone in the tech/contract support group who handles the Reflections access application that was formerly of MicroFocus/OpenText. I am responsible for tech support for all of the Dept of Veterans Affairs clients who access our mainframe system and I no longer have a tech support contact for this product (or for whatever it is you call it now). Can you help me out? Thanks!------------------------------Jimmy CrillyVA AustinAustin TX US------------------------------

My Rocket TE Secure FTP client is almost unusable.  I think it has something to do with the VMS version numbers. There is a {hh:mm} or {yyyy} in front of each and every remote file.  So, if I download that file to my PC, the filename on my pc will have that {hh:mm} or {yyyy} timestamp in the filename. "X.TXT becomes "05:17 X.TXT". Double-clicking on sub-folders generates an error because subfolder "/DISK3/05:17 TEMP" does not exist. Date column is off by 30 to 50 years ... in the future! ------------------------------Jeff AllenSelf RegisteredWayne NJ US------------------------------

If you're using the Ribbon or Browser mode, click the gear or Document Settings icon. On TouchUx, tap the Gear icon and select Document Settings. Find the Host Connection section, click "Configure Connection Settings," and then uncheck "Automa

Hello, When in 27x132 (mod5) mode w/ ISPF "frames" the screen w/ dots on the left and right sides.   The Passport PC TO HOST keyboard END OF LINE function jumps to the non-disp character past the dot rather than jumping to the end of my data.  Other emulators that I use do not have this issue.   Any suggestions are welcome.  Thank you.

Using Rocket TE VT v10.2.1.4761, I do not have hotspots enabled at all.  However, whenever I type a long string of numbers with a minus sign or a dot in the middle, the emulator displays it as "xxxxxxxxxx".  For example "1234567890-1234567890" displays as "1234567XXXXXXX4567890". How do I disable this?------------------------------Jeff AllenSelf RegisteredWayne NJ US------------------------------

All,Hope someone can help answer this. 1. Can I connect to different versions of Rumba Desktop (v 9.5, v10.2) from .NET application for automation? I could not find a way to connect to the Rumba desktop from a .Net application. If it is possible, how can I do it 2. If I use RDE.Net (from v10.2) , then I believe I can use the .Net Control (Mainframe display) and not have to connect to the desktop version. But this will still require Rumba Desktop to be installed on the machine where we are running the application.  3. Also, when running a RDE.Net (v10.2) application in a system which has Rumba 9.5, the Macros folder always throws null exception. For some reason, both the below lines returns always null. Tried various combinations of .Net FW, .Net core, x86, x64 etc., IRDEMacro _macro = mfDisplay.IMainframeDisplay.IRDEMacro;IRDEMacro _macro2 = mfDisplay.IRDEDisplay.IRDEMacro; I think the question on 3 is, if I use RDE.Net from v10.2, do I need Rumba Desktop 10.2 for it to work with Macro

I observed this issue occurring again. Before restarting the services, I collected all the logs. Although the services appear to be up and running, they remain inaccessible. Hi, I am using BlueZone v8.1.1 and I have written a Python script to automate an audit workflow.I am using the WaitReady function after sending an attention identifier key and this approach works for the most part. But all of a sudden, the execution will grind to a halt after a while. I've noticed the execution of the script is getting held up on the WaitReady or WaitForReady command, even though there is nothing waiting on the terminal (the status is 'Ready'). This causes the execution of WaitReady to take up to 30 seconds to execute. This then causes every subsequent use of WaitReady or WaitForReady to also take that long despite the terminal status being 'Ready'. I've then noticed that Presentation Space is Busy is then returned from the function even though the terminal isn't busy UPDATE: I'm starting to see this issue with SendKeys function now as well.. What am I doing wrong? Any help would be appreciated!!Josh.------------------------------Josh GrantRocket Forum Shared Account-

Is there any way to update the keyboard mapper file in reflection using VBA? I am using open vms.#Reflection

Unfortunately, I can no longer find the reference, but I'm pretty sure I saw it in the Rocket online help "somewhere". I'll try and describe what I'd like to do, and maybe someone can say either than it's not supported or, if it is, how to use it. I download files from the mainframe to the PC using a file containing a bunch of command along the lines of RETR "TEST.CLIST(AVBROTT)" E:\\xxx\\xxxxx.TEST.CLIST\\Beyond_compare_PC_and_TSO_files\\Merged_TSO_scripts\\AVBROTT.rex   I then select Transfer, Transfer list and Play on the file containing all the RETR commands What I would like to do is ensure that the files transferred to the PC all have trailing blanks on each line removed. When I saw the BLANKSTRIP documentation, it seemed like that might do the trick, but if it does/can, I can't figure out how to use/define it. ------------------------------Michael SimpsonRocket Forum Shared Account------------------------------

Hi all, By any chance has anyone encountered or has an idea what might be cause for a custom macro built to interact with Extra X-treme 9.7 to not work for some users and work for others? The notification pops up after starting the macro. Following up with the testers for the result of the Debug. Odd thing though is that some members of their team that where placed a version back (9.6 version), the issue was resolved. Hoping for your thoughts!#Extra!X-treme#MainframeAccess#VisualBasic#Extra!

Hi Folks, I hope someone can help me out with this weird issue.  I have a script that has been working fine up until the last Update to v10.2.1.4931.  Now, after sending a PF3 command to the session, it freezes the screen.  Can't move the cursor, can't send input, etc.  I know exactly where it is occurring in my script, at line 1081: bzhao.SendKey "<PF3>" Up to that point it does a few other sendkey statements, like bzhao.SendKey "<Enter>", no problem. If it put this instead: MsgBox ("Hit F3 key") I run script in debug mode, and it works fine (as long as I hit the F3 key manually, and click on OK). I have tried putting disconnect and connect statements right after the sendkey, but it completely disregards them.   Anyone seen this before, or know how to fix this? Thanks.------------------------------Daniel HaydenMiddleware Infrastructure specialistSyniverse Technologies Inc.COMMERCE CA US------------------------------
