Hi, I've been trying for a few weeks to get MVVS to work with Online Editing. I'm able to log on to my server and see all the different accounts and their files; however, when I try to open up a program, I get an error message saying the file could not be found. Further inspection into the logs revealed that there is an error with XToolSub. The error is U2 XToolSub logon account exception, {oldAccount: TESTACCOUNT, newAccount: XDEMO com.rs.mv.mvvs.common.exception.MvVsException: failed to logto account Is there something that UV admin has to do to allow for the logto to succeed? Any help would be appreciated.

When doing REST calls with MVIS, I understand how the u2version field works, get it when you read, and then send it back on updates so that MVIS can know if the record has been updated since you read it, implementing optimistic locking.  Wondering if there is a function that can be called from U2/PICK Basic to generate this same value manually.  We are working on some custom PICK code to read/write data in response to MVIS calls.  We'd like to use the same concept with the u2version field but calculated via PICK code on a certain item in PICK/U2.  We'd like to be able to generate this field manually for reads and then verify it on updates.  Should only add a couple lines of code to our existing routines if there is a way to easily do this from PICK.  Looks like maybe the CHECKSUM function would do this, just wondering if this would generate the same value as MVIS u2Version. Hello everyone.  I am new to the forum and have just upgraded to UniVerse 11.3.5.  I was told there is a tool MVX (Multivalue Performance Experience) that can be installed and was hoping to find out if anyone is currently using this tool.  I would like to know more about it, before I decide on whether or not to install it on my system.

Accuterm GUI when you define multiple columns in your drop down list. Is there a way to wrap the text in a column by separating the multiple lines in that cell with some  character. I have tried  char(10), char(13), the pipe symbol. I am trying to get this to work like "word wrap" in a grid. In the third column I have multivalued data, that I would like to wrap in each cell. Can't find anything in the manual to give me a hint.

I have a few vb apps in place.  My latest one of works in vb 2022 but fails when when I install it in on another computer. I recently was part of a discussion regarding the use of parenthesis with a SELECT statement. My understanding was that parenthesis were not evaluated with respect to AND and OR logic. Is that correct? Looking in the online documentation, the only mention (that I could find) regarding parenthesis use was in relation to OPTIONS. Specifically the the open parenthesis indicated the beginning of an OPTIONS clause and that a close parenthesis could be used to end the clause and that the OPTIONS clause should always be at the end of the statement. If that is the only allowed use for parenthesis then: Why are parenthesis allowed to be used at all in a SELECT statement as follows:SELECT FILE WITH 1 EQ "ABC" AND ( WITH 2 EQ "123" OR WITH 3 EQ "XYZ" )This command executes without an error?
