I have 1.3.1 installed in a test environment. Installation was a real pain since the documentation for the correct version of Java and Python were incorrect in the docs. Thank heaven for Rocket support! We wanted to use Azure for our OAUTH bearer token (like we do through Postman), but could never figure out how to do that in 1.3.1. With Rocket's assistance, we got things working using KeyCloak. I have found 1.3.2 release notes and user guide, but cannot see if anything changed to resolce the above problems. 1) does 1.3.2's zip bundle contain the Python and Java versions that are required? 2) can Azure be used for the Bearer token (OAUTH), and if so how? Would appreciate someone pointing me to some more complete docs that may cover these topics. We have a need to create a single URL RESTful service that will give a different response for GET and POST queries. For GET, the service just echoes the data passed, but for POST it must return data from the database in JSON format. I created an "endpoints.yaml" to create the GET, but have not found any way to create a single URL that answers both GET and POST and treats them differently. So we might have, for example, a call to the URL: http://testapi.mbs.net.au:7171/APP/subroutine/TESTSUB?responsecode This would be expected to simply return the string "responsecode" as specified in the URL. However, if data is POSTed to the same URL (minus the "?responsecode" part), then JSON containing database information would be returned. I've tried various things in endpoints.yaml but have had no success. I'm trying to work out the correct syntax for the "select" option to "limit the returned results" when testing in Swagger using a UniVerse database as the data source. For example, I have a date field and want to select all the dates in a specific year. Is there some documentation that details how this works? I've tried standard UniVerse syntax, standard SQL syntax, but neither of these seem to do what I want to do.

My application seems to be blocking the ssh connection from Visual Studio Code to my Linux server. With other Rocket products the user is identified as terminal, phantom, uvnet, etc. Is there a special type for the login from MVVS?

Somewhere along the line, we have lost the setting in SB client where if you highlight and copy some text on the screen, then paste it into something (like NotePad++ or an email), it loses the CR/LFs.  This means, instead of retaining the format from the screen, the pasted result is one big string on a single line. Where is the setting to tell SB client to keep the CR (CR/LF) when you copy data from the screen? Thanks JRI

Hi All! We have a application (SEMtek developed by Entrinsik) utilizing Universe 11.3 and SB 5.5, with the client being SBC 5.5 (currently).  We've gone through multiple upgrades, however I believe our limit has been reached for UV and SB+ due to some programing limitation in the produce that are no longer being developed.  We've had this running for 15+ years, so all iterations of the supporting software along the line. We're using SBClient uding the GUI for SB.  We've had no issues with SBC up until newer versions of Windows 10 and similar time frame Server OSs.  In Server 2016, all items the app uses in SBC seem to work fine.  In newer releases of Windows 10 and Server 2019, SBC the main interfaces seem to work fine, but some sub menu items completely crashes and closes out the app without error.  I have ticket in with our VAR Entrinsik and will be digging myself to see if I can find what processes this death clicks are using.  Just thought I'd post here to see if someone has any ob

I am new to accuterm, about a year now, and am still struggling with trying to understand the pieces I need in place to have a graphical accuterm screen display on the internet. I've been told repeatedly that its possible and functioning with my release of accuterm8. Can anyone share with me even a static screen accuterm display on the web? In AE and AccuTerm, if I use a '!' to start a comment, the editor ignores that line, leaving where I put it as the author but it does align the '*' comments based on the options set. In the MVVS editor, the "indent.commentLine" option seems to be treating both '!' and '*' comments the same. If it's set to 'true' the comment gets indented the same as the previous line. If it's set to 'false', the comment line(s) are returned to the left margin. Is there a way with the current settings available to retain the capability of '! comments remaining in the position determined by the developer? Hi,I'm trying to use U2 Web Designer to create RBO's. The accounts are on an AIX server. I can successfully attach to the host and see the accounts. I can also successfully enable accounts for WebDE. It's when I click on "U2 Web DE Elements" and I'm asked for a password it always comes back with an "Access is denied error" I've tried the rbadmin/redback combination (This works elsewhere as I can log on to the admin server with it) and several OS users but nothing seems to work. I first tried this several months ago and gave up out of sheer frustration but now I really need to have a look at this.Everything else is working well. I also found that I had to modify permissions on the $UVHOME/UV.ACCOUNT file to create a new account through designer. Perhaps I need some correct permissions set somewhere else.Any ideas as to what I'm doing wrong? I am currently using VSCode using the Remote SSH tools and modifying code on the server. The repository on the Linux server is actually configured as a git instance.It's my understanding, using the MVVS extension, the git repository is on the user's PC or shared drive (OneDrive) but the files on the Linux server are not actually a git repository. The net result of this is that the version of a program on the server is always the latest saved version, regardless of branch.It appears that this SFTP extension works well for keeping items in the local repository uploaded to the server. Any other suggestions?This could actually simplify life to some extent. The cautionary tale is that if someone modifies an item on the server side, it must be manually pulled back to the user's repository. Or, is there an "automagic" means of doing that? Also, any items ID's may need to be converted to URL's if they include characters such as '*', '\\', etc.Thanks, in advance!------------------------------Je

Our program uses a pre-compile routine which modifies the code before running the BASIC command to create the object code. Since Rocket MVVS appears to call the BASIC command when compiling, I'm wondering if there might be a way to call our pre-compile routine instead of BASIC.We're in the process of adopting Git and this would help us take full advantage of Rocket MVVS.Thanks in advance for any ideas.

At the risk of being told "You should not do that!", I'm working with a 35 year old code base that has been on Pick, AIX and Linux over the years. So, folks decided to used characters like asterisks ("*") and question marks ("?") in item ID's as delimiters. When archiving these items and moving them from Linux to Windows, I have functions for converting the ID's to URL's and back. However, these items will not move cleanly from the Linux folders to Windows folders. So, the question at hand is whether there's a good option for converting those item ID's in flight. Unfortunately, there are too many places where those ID's are embedded in code to go down the path of fixing them all, even though that might be preferable. I feel like I must be missing this but have been unable to find it in the documentation.   Is there a way to set the focus to a particular grid cell in code?   I have a grid with a selection box.  If the user selects a given row I would like to take them immediately to the text box in column X on that row for input.  Thanks.

Just tried accuterm on a windows 11 machine and  it was working fine until an Accuterm GUI program is launched, then it opens the GUI form and freezes. Anyone run into this andor have a solution?
