Hi facultative code folding in vscode languages is a good productivity thing but not enabled by default for the Rocket mvbasic extension. It allows you to hide unimportant code in the editor not already hidable because of indentation. The language-configuration.json configuration file allows for a folding region to be added/enabled. This is the json snippet I manually edit into the client and server config files. Hi folks, I'm new to Windows servers have mostly used AIX, HP-UX, and Linux.  The server to which I'm trying to connect is controlled by the IT department of Nashville Metropolitan Government.  I have gotten into server management and can see that the SSH server is runnung but when I try to make the connection with AccuTerm, I get an AccuTerm error that "No supported SSH2 signature scheme exists".  When I click on the details it tells me that AccuTerm supports ssh-dss and ssh-rsa.  I know lots of you are using AccuTerm on Windows servers, can anybody suggest what I am lacking.  I suspect there is something on the server that I need to enable or set up.  As I said, I have limited knowledge on Windows servers; or is there something I need to enable on the AccuTerm? Since the update to MVBasic  2.7.1 when using the online edit mode whenever I go to open a program, I get the following error message:asjava.uniobjects.UniSubroutineException: The RPC failedI can navigate around the server and look at the files and switch accounts with no issue. Hi everyone, I'm very new to Host Access and D3. We're currently working in a D3 Pick environment using the TCL (Terminal Command Language) prompt, and I need to learn everything from scratch. I do have access to Rocket Software's D3 reference manuals, but they're quite large and a bit overwhelming to read cover to cover. Could anyone please suggest the best places to find learning materials - especially video tutorials that cover basic concepts, TCL commands, creating simple programs, and understanding how everything works with real examples? I really prefer videos or more practical, hands-on resources rather than just manuals. Hi, I've been trying for a few weeks to get MVVS to work with Online Editing. I'm able to log on to my server and see all the different accounts and their files; however, when I try to open up a program, I get an error message saying the file could not be found. Further inspection into the logs revealed that there is an error with XToolSub. The error is U2 XToolSub logon account exception, {oldAccount: TESTACCOUNT, newAccount: XDEMO com.rs.mv.mvvs.common.exception.MvVsException: failed to logto account Is there something that UV admin has to do to allow for the logto to succeed? Any help would be appreciated.

When doing REST calls with MVIS, I understand how the u2version field works, get it when you read, and then send it back on updates so that MVIS can know if the record has been updated since you read it, implementing optimistic locking.  Wondering if there is a function that can be called from U2/PICK Basic to generate this same value manually.  We are working on some custom PICK code to read/write data in response to MVIS calls.  We'd like to use the same concept with the u2version field but calculated via PICK code on a certain item in PICK/U2.  We'd like to be able to generate this field manually for reads and then verify it on updates.  Should only add a couple lines of code to our existing routines if there is a way to easily do this from PICK.  Looks like maybe the CHECKSUM function would do this, just wondering if this would generate the same value as MVIS u2Version. Hello everyone.  I am new to the forum and have just upgraded to UniVerse 11.3.5.  I was told there is a tool MVX (Multivalue Performance Experience) that can be installed and was hoping to find out if anyone is currently using this tool.  I would like to know more about it, before I decide on whether or not to install it on my system.

Accuterm GUI when you define multiple columns in your drop down list. Is there a way to wrap the text in a column by separating the multiple lines in that cell with some  character. I have tried  char(10), char(13), the pipe symbol. I am trying to get this to work like "word wrap" in a grid. In the third column I have multivalued data, that I would like to wrap in each cell. Can't find anything in the manual to give me a hint.

There was a wIntegrate update planned for early 2024, but it appears that didn't happen.  I see now a "committed" update, v 6.3.5, for August 2025. Where can I find information on what's included in the update? Oops, sorry, I meant there is a committed update version 6.4.5, that is scheduled for August 2025.  

Hi guys, I have an issue on a customer site that is a Windows 2019 server running Unidata 8.2.1, the workstation is running Windows 11. This is an SB+ site so the users use SBClient (5.5.4). One PC that has been running fine for some time suddenly has a problem were the SBClient is launched, they click Start a Session, it connects to the server, connects to SB+, they enter their SB+ credentials and SBClient  then seems to go into "minimized mode" and will not open. I have tried removing any scripts, deleting and re-creating the profile, re-installing SBClient and even tried installing version 6.5.6 but this problem persists. the user assures me that nothing has changed on that PC. Other users are working fine. This user (with his credentials) works fine on a different PC. Has anyone seen this behaviour before or has any idea what the issue may be? I have a few vb apps in place.  My latest one of works in vb 2022 but fails when when I install it in on another computer. When I right click on a file name in the VSC explorer window I get the option "Compile selected BASIC programs". Selecting this (when connected to the U2 server) runs compile on the selected program(s) on the server. When I run this from F1 (or assign a keyboard shortcut to it) I get an error message even if focus is on the selected file name(s) in the explorer bar.
