I have one user who has severe mouse problems inside a spreadsheet that has been executed from AccuTerm.  If the same spreadsheet is opened from Excel itself or from the file explorer, everything works normally.  The problem is a severe lag in any mouse commands.  If the user clicks on a cell, it is 2 to 5 seconds before the cell that was clicked on becomes selected.  If the user tries to drag a selection in order to select multiple cells, there is also a severe lag. The user is on the latest version of Accuterm I have which is 8.1.2.1137.  The mouse pattern file is identical to what I and other people are using. Has anyone encountered this before?

Hi   I am now starting to role out the Accuterm Front-end developments, we purchased 3 licenses 12 months ago and have only used one.  Yesterday I tried to Activate a new terminal as the second of our terminals but    The activation screen just says  Internet access required at bottom - yes it has internet access but the Activation Button is grayed out   🙁

HI all,  I have just recently upgraded from Accuterm 7 to the latest version of Accuterm 8.1.1.1134. I am currently having an issue if I attempt to run a second instance of Accuterm, the first instance of Accuterm is displayed. I have 2 Accuterm sessions saved on my desktop, the first open fine. When the second session is selected the first session displays. In settings I have checked the option to "open sessions in a new window instead of a new tab". any suggestions would be gratefully received. thanks George.

After being unsuccessful installing the server side of AccuTerm 8 either from my Cisco VPN connection or from a local to the network workstation, Metro's IT department suggested that I install the AccuTerm client onto the server and try the "install server" step from there.  The results have been pretty much identical.  I have copied some screenshots below.  The process has completed only the establishment of the FTBP directory and the installation of FTPBPINST into that directory.  This leaves me with three questions:  Has anyone been successful in installing the server side of AccuTerm on a windows, (2022) server?  Is the windows server just not possible?  Is there a manual step by step process that I can follow to make this installation?  I sure would appreciate some help. After I converted to Windows 11, FT.IMPORT now hangs after the message "Converting spreadsheet.xlsx from Excel format for upload...".  I use this program constantly.  I'm also having some freezing issues when I use subroutines that show a GUI window.  I found the thread "Accuterm GUI lockup on windows 11" which strongly suggests upgrading to at least 8.0.1123 or 8.0.1127 as those versions have fixed some Windows 11 problems.  I currently have version 8.0.1023.  Is it likely that upgrading would solve the FTIMPORT problem too?------------------------------Steve HenkelDirector of ISRocket Forum Shared Account------------------------------

Hi, one of the fun things to do with source code these days is to put it into version control. VS Code makes that easy. One of the biggest version control repositories is GitHub. However, MV basic languages languish in there as unidentified soup. eg the Rocket multivalue-lab home tab language break-down mentions not a jot of MV basic of any flavour. Linguist is the community project which supplies language syntax and ID for GitHub. Its grammar is very close to VS Code's (and the syntax part of the definitions can be controlled by Rocket corporate). Could it be possible Rocket will, one day soon, provide the Linguist definition for some or all of the MV basic flavours? Cheers.

I am trying to use the PictureBox in Accuterm to  display an image of a stock item. \\\\\\\\i can get an image displayed as created at the development of the Form but  can not find out how to change it per stock item. I visited a customer office to install Accuterm on their workstations.  On 4 of the 5 workstations I was able to authorize the AccuTerm using an "Administrative User and Password" issued by their IT department.  On the last workstation I ran as administrator, I entered the user and password when prompted, but when I entered the authorization screen the "Authorize AccuTerm" icon was dimmed and I was unable to complete the authorization.  They purchased a 10 user version.  Does this mean that the administrative user issued by IT was not valid for that workstation?  All the actions leading up to that appeared to be normal and identical to the other 4 workstations.

For some reason this started showing up. It might be a useful feature except that I CAN'T TURN IT OFF!!!!  I've explored all the settings I can find. I found the online documentation where it says I can type "disable code lens" in the command window. I've done that. I even tried to bind the command to a keyboard combo and execute it that way. I've restarted VS code. It's still there taking up half my vertical space. If you're going to add a feature like this you should make it easier to turn off an on.  I shouldn't have to even ask this question. We are running Unidata 8.3 on Windows Server 2022 & Azure Cloud Windows Server. We also operate Replication. Our challenge is to create a scheduled shutdown procedure that will support out of hours Windows Server Patching Shutdowns & Reboots. Hi all, i wonder if someone ever have tried tu build a GUI-Screen in SBclient with TU.FORM.LOAD / TU.FORM.ADDOBJ. Good Afternoon Group, I have an issue with SB/XA.   It is telling me that it "Couldn't create pbclass object FK2.  Object name already in use.  405, SBWIN_99_6*FK2".    (Actually image is attached, below.) I have 2 buttons in my GUI screen.   I know that the F2 is normally "Save" and F4 is normally "Delete".   In my case, I'm using the F2 key as "Generate" and the F4 key as "Exit".    I have used this methodology in the old SB+, but we are going start using SB/XA 5.5.4.  This "issue" is from SB/XA. Can anyone offer any advice or guidance on how to get rid of this?   I have deleted the button and re-inserted it, but to no avail.   The interesting part, the F4 is just fine. Thank you for your time and consideration.   I will be looking forward to any and all feedback.

Hi, actually I only use VS Code with MVVS to program in Universe, and I found it amazing. I am now starting to develop in D3 and jBASE, but found out that these two databases are not supported in MVVS.    Are there plans to add MVVS support for D3 and jBASE? When setting up a data resource, and mapping dictionary items to the REST interface, seems like I'm only able to map one field at a time that points to a given attribute, in my case it's attribute 0.  We have composite ids, and have multiple dict items that point to attribute 0 with some conversions that pull out what that particular dict item needs.  Problem is that when I try to select say _id (attr 0) and other dict items that point to attr 0, it is deselecting the other dict items when I select a new one.  I'd like to have multiple of these at the same time, but not sure how to do that if it's possible.  In my screen shot, I'd like to select _id, sys_date and sys_time but can't seem to get them all checked at the same time.  Any advice welcome. UPDATE: I was able to get both the sys_date and sys_time working, but it doesn't seem to be running the conversion code and just shows the raw field.  When I run a list in TCL, I get the actual convert

Hi All, I am trying out the vscode editor with the MVBASIC extension and I am having trouble with the compile command. Accuterm 8.1.0.1132D3Linux 10.3.4 ,  case-insensitive The compile command will only work if most everything is upper-case and the program will run in a case-sensitive mode which is not my choice.
