UFT 2023 is unable to spy the terminal objects in Rumba 6.9 w2h Host access web launcher and I have tried several way to identify and still it is not capturing. It annoys me that the default working directory for downloading to the PC is hard-coded (?) to ....\\My Documents\\BlueZone\\TransferI tried editing the Working Directory entry in  Computer\\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\\SOFTWARE\\BlueZone (64-bit)\\10.1  but it just seems to get reset to the BlueZone\\Transfer entry again.Is there really no way to set the default download folder to where I want ?------------------------------Michael SimpsonRocket Forum Shared Account------------------------------

You guys will know better than I as to whether what I'm suggesting/asking for has all sorts of complications that I'm not aware of.  I use the Play Transfer List  a lot to transfer 2 mainframe files to the PC for comparison using Beyond Compare. What I notice a lot is that my connection drops quite a lot (I'm guessing a timeout, which is understandable). My "problem" is that I click on the Play Transfer List , select the file I'm using, and ..... nothing happens (because I've been disconnected). When that happens, I know I need to reconnect and I'm up and running again. How difficult would it be to "notice" that there is no connection and, say, change the Play Transfer List icon to red or similar? Hi, I am hoping someone on here has played with RTE using z/OS zCX containers.    I currently have RTE WE 10.1.5.0065 running successfully under z/OS V2.5 in USS with IBM supplied NODE.JS version 18.14.2. My question is about running RTE in a z/OS ZCX container as documented in the administrators guide. For the zCX container, I have s390x/node.js V20 docker image downloaded s390x/node - Docker Image | Docker Hub here. However, what is not clear in the admin guide is whether or not I need to use the extracted download image for z/OS USS which is the larger .pax file on your website, or do I use the extracted .tar file instead?  I think the Linux .tar download is what I need, and have been using to create the docker image. I actually had the docker build run successfully with the .tar version, but had issues because the first s390x/node.js package was the "slim" version, which i hadnt noticed, and doesnt contain everything needed. After entering an ip address for a router that I am trying to log into I am prompted with a text box to enter my password (my username is part of my settings file, so I don't have to enter it.).  My password consists of two parts. When prompted with the text box to enter my password I have to type a long (13 digit) password and then I need to enter an 8 digit number from my RSA token (the 8 digit number changes about every 30 seconds, but my long password is static). I tried to use the "mouse mapper" function to save my password so I could just press one keyboard key and click my mouse one time to get my password to paste into the password text box, but, this function does not work with the password text box. After I do log into a router, If I use my key + mouse click combination, my password will paste into my Cisco command line interface, but prior to logging into router, it appears that "mouse mapper" will not work. Is there any other way that Reflection can save my long passwo

Several users have complained of the printing process being hung up in the queue. The "print using windows default printer" is selected and they are connected to the correct printer. Reflection Desktop Pro Version - I created a settings file ( with settings for Secure Shell, XTERM, Keyboard Map, color of font, width of the screen, etc.) for logging into routers. Each time that I click to open the file, I am then prompted to enter the ip address of the router that I want to log into. Intermittently though, for some reason, when I click on my file to start a new ssh session, instead of being prompted to enter a new ip address for another router that I want to log into, Reflection simply begins connecting to the last router ip address that I connected to. The ip of the router that I last logged into, is intermittently being saved inside my settings file (which has a .rdox file extension). So I have to keep making duplicates of my original file, which does not have any ip address saved in it. This is so frustrating and has been going on for years. Hi Sir, Your help is very much appreciated. I was struggling from week. I have sample VB script code that have created bzwhll object that will open session & login into bluezone mainframe. The sample code is working from command line system32>cscript filename.vbs. (It create object, opensession,login to bluezone) Same script will fail from below run command syswow64>csript filenam.vbs The same script I added to .hta file and ran it from win10 OS. I’m receiving “ActiveX component can’t create object bzwhll.whllobj”. It fails at second line in code give below. Hello dear colleagues, first of all, thank you for the opportunity. I am a programmer of the Reflection Basic Editor scripts. Please look at both attached pictures. I just need to recover 2 things,  1) The debuging button "View Variable" is missing (when I am running a script from the script editor). It stop working several years ago. I reintalled the whole application. Even in a new laptop and I can't make it work.  2) In the same way, the F1 help its also missing. No information at all is comming when F1 is selected. My company's data security team is evaluating Extra! X-treme 9.6 and have a few basic questions. Can the file transfer options / Reflections Secure FTP be disabled for all users?  That is, if we wanted set a default option such that Extra! was not able to transfer data to and from the mainframe, is that possible? Are there plug-ins like Java or Active X that are no longer supported? If anyone either knows the answer to these or can direct me to relevant documentation, I would appreciate it. Good Afternoon, We have a few users who are having issues with Rumba 10.1 after a windows 10 update last week. The PC's are Latitude 7420's and 7430's with Windows 10 Enterprise and version 22H2. We have the Rumba package that includes Eagle1, Source Bridge, Talon, Tinet, Black Knight and then Rumba 10.1. None of the applications seem to open correctly as they open like normal for 5-10 seconds then immediately close. We have tried uninstalling/restart/re-install, unable to rollback windows update, installing manually with admin rights (nothing happens), installing via Microsoft Company Portal (fails), and no event viewer errors. What are some other steps we can take to possibly resolve the issue? I am not very familiar with the Rumba platform but the number of users experiencing this crash is slowly growing and I would like to look at all options in possibly resolving this. Hello, I am randomly encountering this error during the run of my VBA macros on the 10.1 Rocket TE (32bit) V10.1.4.4556: "ErrNbr: -2147467259, ErrDescript: Method 'getDisplayText' of object 'IWhllObj' failed" We have recently upgraded from BlueZone 8.1 (64bit) TN5250 to Rocket 10.1 (32bit) TN3270. With our previous version, we have created many automations with VBA macros for our business. With this transition, we are seeing the above error often. We will run the script as usual and at some point, this will flag and cause our file to "Fail Save" and report the error. On restart to step thru, the macro will be unable to progress past the first "SESSION.READSCREEN" command. However, I have an If SESSION.CONNECTED=true command prior that the macro is able to step thru no problem.  I've tested other commands and SESSION.CONNECTED, SESSION. SESSION.FULLNAME, SESSION.GETSESSIONID, SESSION.GETSESSIONID all work accurately. But if I attempt to do SESSION.READSCREEN, GETDISPLAYTEXT, SENDKE

Hello! We have recently updated from BlueZone 8.1 (64bit) TN5250 to Rocket TE 10.1 (32bit) TN3270 MainFrame Display. We had previously developed many scripts and automations with the previous version in the VBA macro component that we are now having issues with after this update. The big issue currently encountered is: "Run-time error '-2147467259 (80004005)': We run the VBA macro as usual. It works for a few minutes. It will randomly close during the script citing: Run-time error '-2147467259' We will attempt to restart the macro and the first encounter of "SESSION.READSCREEN (buf,len,col,row) will result in "Run-time error '-2147467259 (80004005)': Method 'ReadScreen' of object 'IWhllObj' failed. "SESSION.WRITESCREEN (str,row,col)" will result in "Run-time error '-2147467259 (80004005)': Class not registered." If I do a full session close and reopen the session, I can restart the macro and the existing code executes fine until again, it seemingly randomly will "disconnect" from the C

Hello, I am trying to run X windows and sessions using Reflection.  However, when I install Reflection onto my machine, it does not include the X Manager app.  When I just use Reflection Workspace, I can only run a terminal, and no X windows are forwarded. This is a trial version -- perhaps X Manager is not part of the trial version of Reflection Desktop Pro, v 18?  Otherwise, where can I find X Manager? Thank you!! All, We are an IT support company working with an automotive group that uses CDK Global.  When users of this platform perform certain tasks which launch bzvt.exe, the CPU utilization jumps significantly - often to 100%.  In other instances, the CPU remains normal until the tab that launched bzvt.exe is closed, at which point the bzvt.exe process jumps, often to 100%. I deleted my original append since  I found the answer to my question it was SO simple Thought I'd post it here in case anyone else stumbles upon this append. My original query was about automating the download of files from the mainframe using Rocket's Secure FTP. That didn't fly because work has closed off FTP'ing other than through Rocket for security reasons. Instead, simply create a transfer list and use that. After starting Rocket FTP, select Transfer, Transfer List and Record. This will indicate where the default .BTL files (transfer list files) are stored. Now simply create a .BTL file using Notepad++ in that default directory, and for each file you want to transfer, create one line similar to this (where the first quotes indicate that your userid will be prefixed to the mainframe filename automatically). RETR "PFTO010.PRIV0.SEBTRACE" C:\\Temp\\PFTO010.PRIV0.SEBTRACE To run this script, select Transfer, Transfer List and Play.  Select the .BTL file you created, and you're aw

"paste" operation (via edit toolbar and right-click method) becomes disabled after a very small amount of screen history in Extra 9.6 SP1. The problem with the paste operation becoming disabled did not occur in Extra version 9.2 until a very large amount of screen history.  Setting used for screen history in both versions is the same (enabled, don't include scrolling region, don't retain history),  Is there some setting to prevent this from happening, or is this a known defect in version 9.6?#Extra!#MainframeAccess

Due to requirements at work we have been forced to update all of our macros from .NET Framework to .NET 6. This has caused our macros to stop working due to the reliance on System.Runtime.Remoting reference in the Framework dll. Are there any plans in the future to update the .NET API so it can operate in .NET 6?#Reflection
