I patched to patch 026 a couple of days ago and my colleagues and I have noticed it no longer responds to Ctrl-F or Ctrl-H in the proc editor, and find and replace now require the right click menu.  This is continually catching me out, and I and winding up typing search strings into proc because Ctrl-F has not brought up the find window.  How do I get the shortcuts back? Hi FreaksFor a long time, the proc editor in UF 9.7.4 works well.But since a few weeks it going slower and slower.First I thought it is the internet, but this happens at every connection to the internetThen I did a look into the INI:  maxtags is 20 and even if I set it to 0 ... It looks like ot depends of the size of the proccodeSmall trigger or at the beginning of a large trigger: The editor responds immediately to input.Large triggers at the end of the code. Hello, what kind of input has to be used for the field "Find what"? Is it a plain text? Is it a regular expression? Is it a Uniface Systax string? When searching for "E00" i get results like : message/error $text(E003) call LP_LIMS("E0020", "MAX", KONZ_ARSEN.CHECK_EN) As i just want results like $text(E00x), i have searched for "(E00". Hi Unifacers, I was asked to develop a Real Time Application using Uniface; this application should be able to manage up to 99 devices, directly connected or indirectly connected through 1-N physical data concentrators, each one managing a blocks of devices. Those data concentrators are really simple ones; they are NOT able to maintain a queue of data for those devices they managed: for each device just last item of data collected and its timestamp. The precision of this system should be at thousand second. There should be a dashboard on a controller station avaliable to send a couple of commands to each single device to manage them, using different protocols when directly connected or when connected through a data concentrator. Hello everyone, I'm looking for a way to validate JSON documents in Uniface against a JSON Schema (to check both syntax and structure).Has anyone here already implemented such a solution or integrated an external library or service for this purpose? In the windows environment, we've had a user ask if there's any control over size/display of a tri-state checkbox.  I can't see anything that would help them here, does anyone know of anything that would make a checkbox (in a grid widget as it happens) bigger. Or possibly make the state easier to read on windows 11. Hi All,   As part of our ongoing upgrade, we are transitioning the Uniface environment from Uniface 7 (on OpenVMS) to Uniface 10 (on Linux).During this migration, we encountered an issue with a 3GL function that was previously working as expected in the OpenVMS environment. The function is invoked using the following Uniface command:   perform "3glfunction"edit/nowander   This 3GL function is implemented in a .c file located in a Linux directory. Its purpose is to pause the Uniface application until a specified time has elapsed. Once the timer completes, the function uses UPUTAMES to send a response back to Uniface.While this setup worked seamlessly on OpenVMS, it does not function correctly on Linux. The Linux version of the 3GL function uses a timer thread, which is detached after the timer ends. Although UPUTAMES works independently and is capable of sending responses back to the application, it fails to trigger the expe

Hello all, We are currently in the process of upgrading from Uniface 10.4.02.052 to 10.4.03.019 and have noticed a difference in behaviour with our HTML widget that we are not sure how to resolve. I believe this is probably due to a newer version of the CEF framework that is included in this release. I know that Uniface is not responsible for CEF functionality, however, I wonder if anyone has encountered the following issue or can suggest a solution.... We have a form component with a HTML widget on it. We communicate with a third-party via REST APIs and they send us back the URLs of a number of images, and we then update the HTML widget to render these images. The URLs to these images are stored on a CDN. Whenever the HTML widget renders these images the following error is recorded in the message frame: HTML Widget: Third-party cookie will be blocked. Hi Unifacers, from documentation Uniface 10 has terminated support for:    /exe  Switch that was specific to the Development Environment. No longer supported.without any specific reason.In Uniface9 we had a very useful utility which after a search on components code was opening a separate development session directly on any of the components identified; this utility cannot be ported on Uniface10 without a restructuring. Now my questions:1) Is it possible in Uniface 10 Development having available the primary key of a Uniface component opening it directly in editing mode in a new session or in a separate Tab?2) If answer to #1 is NO, will a /exe or a /edit feature be implemented again in a next future on all Uniface development objects?3) If answer to #1 is YES, same functionality could be applied to any Uniface development object (Global procs, Global Includes, Global Menus, Modeled entities, Modeled fields, Code Snapshots, Field tem
